Gemma's POV

I woke up to the sound of birds singing and crickets chirping outside the windows. Stretching lazily, I turned around to see my beautiful boyfriend of 3 years, Asa.

He was still peacefully sleeping, so I decided to make him some breakfast. I searched in my mom's cupboard, and found some flour, butter and eggs.

I pondered about what I could make, then it finally came to me. Pancakes!! I searched around for the utensils I needed, and made the batter. I heard someone come in, and I turned around to see my mom standing there in her work uniform. She was a senior nurse at the local hospital.

"Good morning Gemma," She said, coming over and planting a light kiss on my forehead. I smiled.

"Morning mom," I looked at the pancakes and decided to flip them.

"Where's Asa?" Mom asked, making herself some coffee for her flask.

"Still sleeping." I shook my head and smiled fondly.

"Aww," She replied, pouring the coffee in the flask.

"Whoops!" I said, turning the heat down for the pancakes and flipping them one final time. I checked them and made sure they where done, and when I was 100% sure they were, I laid them on the plate. "Do you want one?" I asked my mom.

"No thank you sweetie, I gotta get to work, important call. Love you, mwah!" She said, blowing me a kiss and grabbing her bags and folders. She had been really busy the past couple of days, and I felt sorry for her.

"Bye!" I called, lifting a piece of pancake and taking a bite, just to make sure. I didn't want to poison Asa! They where actually pretty good, like.

I grabbed some Nutella from the cupboard, and spread it all over, knowing it was Asa's favorite.

"Morning beautiful," I heard a deep British accent, and jumped, turning around quickly. I saw Asa leaning against the door post, shirtless with only his boxers on.

"Asa!" I screamed, running and jumping on him. He caught me and I gave him a hug and a long kiss on the lips.

He set me down. "What are you making?" He sniffed the air which smelt like a bakery, I don't even know how.

"Pancakes especially for you," I sat him down at the table and went over to get the plate, putting it in front of him. His eyes gleamed when he saw.

"Awww, baby, you're so cute!" He said. He looked down. "I think I'm gonna go get some clothes on." He went into the bedroom, while I sneaked a pancake, stuffing it in my mouth quickly. Asa came in.

"Gemma?" He said. I stared at him guiltily, my mouth full of pancake.

"Yes?" I asked, gulping quickly.

"Did you just eat one of my pancakes?" He gave me a stern look.

"Nope, nope." I said, leaning against the bench.

"Then explain the chocolate on your mouth," He said, pointing.

"Oh," I said, sheepisly, smushing my thumb into the crease of my mouth and wiping. "Is it gone?"

"Yup," He smiled and planted a kiss on my lips before sitting down and taking a bite. "Mm, this are absolutley gorgeous! Well done, love." He said, plopping another bit in his mouth. I smiled proudly.

"Thank you." I went into my bedroom, which had totally been done up. It still had loads of One Direction posters though! I will never grow out of them.

I delved into my closet and brought out a pink sweater and some black leggings. I went into my bathroom, giving my face a quick wash, then put the clothes on and sprayed some deodorant. I went back to the kitchen, and saw Asa clearing his dishes.
