We walked out of the ice cream store and out into the parking lot, so we could chill in the car and just talk.

"So, imagine we were having a baby. What names do you like for a boy and for a girl." Asa asked, taking a lick of his ice-cream. I took a long lick of mine and thought.

"I really like Jessica for a girl, and for a boy probably Ollie or Harry."

"I like the name Jessica too for a girl, but for a boy I like Louis."

"One direction names," I said, smirking. "I want a baby boy called either Harry, Louis, Liam, Niall or Zayn. I don't care what other people think."

"Zayn? Seriously?" Asa asked, raising his eyebrows.

"Yes, do you have a problem with Zayn?" I glared. Don't criticise One Direction in front of me. Ever.

"Oh no, I don't have a problem, I just don't think we should choose a One Direction name because, we need to be original."

"Ok. Ollie?"

"Yeah, it's alright."

We sat in silence for a moment before I said. "How about 5 seconds of summer?"

"No! Not another band."

"But I really like their names! Calum, Luke, Ashton and Michael!"

"Hmm... Ashton is an alright name." He thought for a moment. "Yeah, I like it!"

"So, the names have narrowed down to Ashton for a boy and Jessica for a girl. But I might not be pregnant, so this could all be a waste of time.""

"Well, we can always use them in the future."

"Of course." I smiled. "Hey, turn the radio on."

Asa reached over and turned it on. The song 'Stupid Love' was on by Jason Derulo. My fuckin' jam.

Asa started singing along. When it came to the 'I'm crazy for you, lord knows what I'd do, I'd even die for you' he looked at me and stroked my cheek. I giggled.

"I love you so much." I said, meaning every word.

"I love you too."

-The next week-

So, my period didn't come that day. Or any of the days in between. And that's why I was starting to get even more worried.

"Asa, I think it's time to take the test."

"You're sure?" He asked, coming over and sitting beside me, rubbing his fingers over my back. I nodded.

"Definitely sure."

"Okay, well I left the tests in the bathroom cupboard, go in and they should still be in the bag. Do you want me to come with you? Not into the toilet, I'll wait outside. Well, I can come in if you want?"

"Come with me, but don't come into the actual bathroom I don't want you to see me pee. Hurry up, or I'm going to piss myself right here!" I actually was starting to need the toilet.

"Okay, come on." He grabbed my hand and ran up to the bathroom. I walked in and went straight to the cupboard, opening it and grabbing the bag.

"I'll wait for you outside, okay. Good luck babe." He gave me a little kiss and left the room. I looked down at the package and opened it, lifting out the instruction manual and reading over it a couple of times. When I was sure, I lifted the actual test out and looked at it.

"Weird." I said, turning it around and looking. "Okay, so it says pee on the top bit then leave for 2 minutes.."

So I sat down on the toilet and put the stick underneath me, trying and praying that I wouldn't get pee on my hands. When I'd emptied myself, I sat the stick down and flushed the chain, washing my hands straight after.

"Asa!" He came bursting in.

"So?"

"Well, I have to leave it for two minutes."

"Okay, okay."

I sat down on the toilet lid and looked at my phone. Yes, I'd put a timer on it. It was down to the last 10 seconds.

"Briiinggg"

"This is it, Asa." I took a deep breath and picked up the stick, closing my eyes. "I can't do it, you look."

"Gemma! Fine." He took the stick, far from were I'd peed, and gasped. Oh shit oh shit oh shit.

"Gemma, we're going to be parents."
