"Vo main or Sameer dekh lege. Aap apna kaam dekho. Mujhe dekhte rahene se kuch nahin hoga" mocked Adya folding her arms, rolling her eyes. "Thora time lagega. Mujhe sab dekhna padega kitchen ka" said Maid and started her work. Adya went in room and came with books. She sat in living area, keeping eye on maid.
Like this days were passing. None of them even tried to have a talk with each other. Sameer as usual too busy in work and Adya maintaining a very good distance from Sameer. Leave about talking. They didn't even saw each other. But for sure they both have their mind peace and smile. Sameer is stressed and exhausted because of work. Adya is feeling too alone. She lost her chirpyness and bubbly girl. The girl who can't sit quietly for few minutes is now all day alone, caged inside four walls. She don't have 1% idea what's going on in her life. Why she is caged inside. According to her, Sameer is trying to force her.
Sameer too don't have any idea what's going on in Adya's life.
After a week. Adya was sitting on dinning table, sipping her milkshake. Maid was working in kitchen. "Adya ek baat sun" said maid in harsh tone. "Kya hain? Aur aese baat kaun karta hain apne boss se?" mocked Adya in same tone. "Tujhe thori tameez sikhni chaye. Shaadi shuda ladki ki tarah thora sharam, lihaaj rakh. Aese kaise tum der tak soti raheti ho? Patni jaldi uthna chaye. Pati se pehle uthna chaye mera matlab hain. Vo bichara din raat mehnat kar kama raha hain. Tum ek kaam nahin kar sakti. Ghar ka kaam nahin aata Chalo theek to bahar uske business me help karo" explained Maid with disguise face. Adya stared at her face for few seconds.
"Aapse kisi kaha kya mujhe certificate dene ko? Nahin na? To judge kyun kar rahi ho? Or itni hi tension ho rahi hain aapko Sameer ki ke vo itna hardwork kar raha hain just to earn to aap ek kaam kyun nahin karti... Aap apni salary nahin lena. Theek hain? Aapki salary kam hogi utni mehnat ko kam karega na. Ye sahi hain. So, deal done. A-" Maid cuts her in between in shock. "Ye kya bol rahi ho?" She asked in shock. "Arey! Aapse Sameer ki takleef dekhi nahin jaa rahi thi na. To maine solution nikala or vaise bhi aap kaam kam or judge, jasoosi zyada kar rahe ho. Or haan Sameer ko dikkat nahin hain main study kar rahi hoon job nahin to aapko kyun itni dikkat hain? Oh wait! Aap mere survival ka kharch dene ka soch rahe ho kya?" snapped Adya.
"Nahin nahin! Main kyun dugi?" replied Maid in hustle. "To chup chap apna kaam karo. Baki humara kaam hum dekh lege" ordered Adya and took her milkshake. She turned to leave but stopped again. She turned to maid "Ek aur baat. Patni ko pati se pehle uthna chaye na. To aap apne boss ko bol dena mere uthne tak na uthe. Main jab uthugi usko bhi utha dugi. Theek hain? Or agar aap aese nahin kar sakte to apne kaam se kaam rakho. Hum humara dekh lege. Thank you humari care karne ke liye but not Thank you" spat Adya and walked away. Maid fists her hand in anger.
Adya went in her room and closed the door with thud. She went in washroom and washed her face. "Ignore Adya. Ignore and focus on study." She cheered herself and sat for studies.
Maid continued her work, cursing Adya but who cares.
