~EMILY'S POV~
•••few days later•••
*RINGG!*
"Remember class! Projects are due next time! Have a nice weekend!"
Mrs. Springfield's voice boomed in the classroom. I couldn't wait to get out of class. Sitting in class listening to a teacher blabber on and on about George Washington weren't exactly fun. I quickly packed up all my things into my bag and slung them over my shoulders. I sighed as students poured into the hallways scrambling to get their lunch. I stood in front of the doorway- missing Harry who always used to pick me up. He was back at the bootcamp and I wouldn't see him for a few more days. Suddenly, my phone chimed in my pocket.

Text message from Perrie:
- Em! You need to come out here on the field! ASAP! It's an emergency!
Text message to Perrie:
- What? What happened? Is everything all right Per?
Text message from Perrie:
- Hurry up! Come now Emily! Come on! Football field! NOW."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I quickly shoved my phone back into my pockets again and started running into the opposite direction of the hallway. The football field was quite far away from this part of the building and I was worried if anything bad had happened. Perrie had sounded a bit frantic and wondered if someone got hurt. Crossing my fingers that everything was all right, I forced my way into the crowded hallways. I held onto my bag tightly as I swerved past the rowdy crowds while shoving people out of the way. I rolled my eyes when someone jolted my sideways but I sprinted off to the field.
"PERRIE? P- WHAT HAPPENED? PERRIE?"
I clutched my head as I wiped away the little droplets of sweat that had formed. I literally sprinted my way here and I was panting hard trying to catch my breath. I desperately needed some water to satisfy my thirst. I looked around the field several times for Perrie. There wasn't anyone on the field nonetheless Perrie. She was no where to be seen. The sun shone into my eyes as I searched for her. I called out her name a couple of times but there wasn't any response. My breathing was still irregular and all the running had knocked the breath out of me.
"PERRIE? WHERE ARE YOU?"
I stood in the middle of the field to look for any signs of her. Nope. I was the only one here. Suddenly, I saw a long line of football players running out from the locker rooms. I cocked my head sideways wondering what they were doing. After all, football season had ended and it was too hot to practice. They all seemed to have something clutched in their hands tightly. I squinted my eyes to get a better look and they appeared to be multi-colored balloons. Suddenly, the players started running towards me and I stood there frozen. I didn't know what they wanted with me but as the football players passed by me, they each handed me the balloons that were in their hands. Soon, I had about 15 balloons.
"Wh- Wait! What? What do I do with these?"
I asked several of them but none of them replied. I got frustrated because none of them talked to me. I had about a dozen of balloons in my hands and they varied in color from pink to blue and green. After the last player, Parker, handed me the balloon, they all stood in the bleachers in a straight line- side by side. What were they doing in this heat? Out of curiosity, I started walking over and towards them to ask them some questions. Right before I reached the bleachers, the first player held out a piece of poster paper with the letter "W."
