~CHAPTER 9~

~HARRY'S POV~

As Emily and Zayn pulled out of the parking lot, I waved at them. They were driving off in the opposite direction and it was harder for me to spot them every time. Finally after they left, a sudden flashback left me frozen with fear in the middle of the lot.

*FLASHBACK*

As I was leaving for the arcade after Emily, Chandler suddenly stopped me. His shoulders were stopping me from going past him. I looked at him then rolled my eyes. He blocked my way and as I was about to go past him, he said in his harsh tone

"Emily. Leave her alone. She's mine. What part of that isn't clear?"

The last part made me angry. He talked as if she was an object that someone could call dibs on. He couldn't tell me to stay away or make me leave her alone. He had no right. He couldn't make me. I brushed away his shoulder and what he had just said. I was about to push him aside and leave the room when he said again

"I want you to stay away from her. I don't want you to be near her. You don't even like her truly. Your just trying to replace her with Michelle. She's just another girl that you'll play with and break her heart. So I want you to stay away. She's mine. Got that? I better not see you next to her- ever."

I was going to ignore him. To just walk away and pretend I didn't hear him. As soon as he talked about Michelle, he had just crossed the last line. She was a sensitive and a touchy subject. I hated it when people mentioned her in front of me and my friends were be careful around me too. I clenched up my fist and turned around. He was walking away from me and I yelled out

"Well what if I do like her? What if I tell you that my feelings are true towards her? Then what are you going to do about it?" What if I can't stay away from her?"

He turned around quickly and started coming towards me. He grabbed me by my collar and whispered into my ear

"I'm warning you. You better stay away Harry. I swear. You may have taken Michelle away but your not taking away Emily."

I thrusted his hands off my collar then I could tell his hateful eyes were glaring at me. His eyes were full of hatred and he was gritting his teeth. It wasn't the first time we both liked the same girl. We both like Michelle too, but she didn't love Chandler back. He started to despise me from back then till now. Now, we both liked the same girl again. I stepped up towards to his face and told him straight up

"I've finally found someone I like beside Michelle, and I'm not letting her go. Don't tell me what to do. You can't make me stay away from her. Emily is never going to fall with a pushy asshole like you."

I could see steam literally coming out of his ears and he had a scowl on. Outside, I could hear Louis and Emily screaming playing a game. I pushed Chandler aside and I said

"Move. I've got a girl to get myself too."

As I was about to walk our of the door, he yelled in his husky voice

"You think she'll be safe?! You think you can protect her?! IF I CAN'T HAVE HER, THEN NO ONE CAN. I SWEAR."

That part ticked me off. My jaws clenched up and the thought of him doing something set me off. I couldn't take any more of his crap and the things he was talking about. I started running towards Chandler and I grabbed his collar as soon as he was in reach and I said

"YOU BETTER NOT LAY A FINGER ON HER. I SWE- IF YOU HURT HER, YOU'LL BE THE FIRST ONE ILL BE COMING AFTER."

I was angry and steaming. He had a smile on his face and he was chuckling. I felt hot all over and was trembling from what he had just said. I couldn't believe what he had just said. He was threatening me about Emily. I couldn't bare to see Emily hey hurt by Chandler. I would never let that happen. Not over my dead body. I would protect her. I would protect her and keep her safe. I swore. I wouldn't let anything touch her. He started walking away slowly- like a victor. I just wanted to punch the smile off of his face. To beat him until he was a pulp. I was trembling at the last part. I got goosebumps and chills all over my body. I was in total shock. I looks outside at Emily and she was smiling. I couldn't imagine anything happening to her. I felt the color drain out of my face and I was dizzy for a second. I went pale and was shivering. I stayed in the same position for about 5 minutes, staring off into space. I swallowed a large bump in my throat then slowly started to head outside. I did my best to hide my worried face- I didn't want anyone to know. I tried my best to put on a fake smile. My hands were trembling and my palms were sweaty. I hoped that nobody would notice and headed out. The voice that rang in the back of my mind was
