I have discovered that when most people say goodbye, they don't actually mean goodbye.
They mean see you later.
Because if they like you enough to say goodbye, that means they want to see you again.
Saying goodbye almost always means see you later.
There are some people who don't say goodbye though. they just wake up one morning and decide they don't want to talk to you anymore. and they don't. you never know why and they never have to tell you why.
That's the only goodbye you are going to get from them. Their silence.
