Imagine you're sitting in class, counting down the seconds as it approaches your birth time. You watch excitedly as the second hand on the clock ticks rhythmically, slowly bringing the time closer and closer to the same exact time you were born almost 18 years ago.
You honestly have half a mind to pay attention to what your teacher is lecturing about. You're just too excited and hopeful that you'll finally be able to read your soul mate's mind. The moment both soul mates reach the age of 18, they can start talking telepathically to each other. You're just hoping your soul mate is older than you because you're dying to find out who they are.
The moment the second-hand ticks and marks the beginning of the new minute, you scream excitedly in your head. Out of the corner of your eyes, you notice someone flinch in surprise. Yet, when you register who that person is, you can't help but stare in confusion.
Lee Heeseung, the person who has hated you, teased you and made fun of you ever since the two of you were in elementary school now sits a few desks away from you, frantically glancing around the room as if someone had just startled him.

I hope you're all staying safe, happy, and healthy! I can't believe it's already November - that means I'm almost done with the semester! I can't wait to go on break. Perhaps I'll get a chance to catch up on writing. But with the end of the semester approaching, that also means I have a lot of projects and exams coming up.
