53 - Park Jongseong

Imagine you're having an argument with your husband. He's getting rather aggressive and reaches out to grab your arm roughly.

"Why don't you ever listen to me, huh?" he yells.

Just as he raises one arm to hit you, and as you squeeze your eyes shut to brace for the impact, his gaze catches on something behind your shoulder.

"Jay?" your husband stumbles back a couple of steps. His features are now softened into a mixture of surprise and fear. When you look close enough, you notice his hands are trembling. "What are you-"

And then you see it. The spark of something bright flashing in your husband's irises, followed by the deafening thunder of a firearm going off. The hair on the back of your neck stands pin-straight when you finally hear the unruly sound of a bullet piercing straight through your husband's forehead - right in the middle, perfectly aimed. Blood splatters across your face and your clothes, ricocheting against the walls as they paint your home a dark crimson.

When you finally manage to turn around, you're welcomed by the image of your brother-in-law standing with a gun held firmly between his two hands.

"How long has he been treating you like this, Y/N?" Jay asks, his tone dangerously low.

"Jay, what did you just do?" you ask shakily, ignoring his first question.

"My brother clearly didn't know how to treat women - so I taught him a lesson," he shrugs.

Happy Monday, Dalgis! How'd y'all like this Jay imagine? To be honest, it came out darker than I expected but I'm also not complaining. I think it's a good switch from the fluff that I like to consider my "comfort zone." 

In other news, I got my wisdom teeth taken out last week and I'm slowly starting to eat solid foods once again. You never really realize how precious your teeth are until you can't use them 🥲 I'm just glad that I wasn't in any pain. Just some aches but nothing that I couldn't deal with without the need to take painkillers - which I'm honestly pretty proud of.

I hope you are all staying safe, happy, and healthy! I have so much going on in the month of April so I'm already mentally bracing myself. But that also means as soon as the events are over, I'm one step closer to graduating!
