Imagine you're loading all the dirty laundry into the washing machine. The machine beeps quietly as you program its settings and sings a little tune right when the water floods in to begin the cycle. Just as you exit the room and shut the door behind you, you hear heavy pacing steps coming from a few rooms away.
"Where is it?" your boyfriend panics to himself. You approach the source of the noise to find Jungkook running around your shared closet throwing his clothes left and right.
"Babe, what's wrong?" you ask, a slight frown forming on your lips at his odd behavior.
"Have you seen my jacket?" he asks. "The black one I wore earlier this week."
"Oh, I just put it in the wash," you nod.
"No!" he yells, causing you to flinch in surprise. "It wasn't dirty!"
"But you wore it this week?" you state, although it comes out sounding more like a question. You follow along behind Jungkook as he rushes into the laundry room and opens the washing machine to pull the jacket out.
"The ring," he mutters. "Where's the damn ring?"
"What ring?" Your heart is pounding in your chest.
When he finally finds the jacket and reaches into the jacket, you gasp as he pulls out a small velvet black box.
"I was going to propose to you tomorrow," he responds meekly. "Which is why I invited all of our friends and parents out to dinner."
"Oh, I'm so sorry, babe," you can't help but chuckle a little as you pull him into a tight hug, cradling his head and placing apologetic kisses all over his face. "I'll be the best actress you've ever seen, okay? I'll even get the waterworks going."
"Does that mean you'll marry?" your boyfriend cracks a smile, digging his face into the crook of your neck.
"Of course, my love. Till death do us part."
