Imagine you just moved into a new neighborhood. As you were about to make dinner, there was a knock at the door.
You got up and opened the door to be faced with a boy around your age. He's holding a container with cookies.
"Hello, I'm Soobin. I live across the street from you and I saw you moving in so I just wanted to introduce myself," he rambles shyly.
"Hi, I'm Y/N," you nod curtly.
"I made some cookies for a family get-together I'll be attending tomorrow and was wondering if you'd like to try some."
You were about to decline his offer since you didn't want to spoil your appetite before dinner. But upon closer inspection, you noticed Soobin's subtle nervous behaviors. He never once looked at you while you were talking, and his fingers that were gripping the cookie plate tightly were trembling slightly.
"I'm sorry, I probably-" he begins to apologize when you stare at him for too long.
"No, my apologies. It was rude of me to stare. I would love to try one of your cookies."
Finally, Soobin looks you in the eyes and when your gazes meet, he couldn't help but blush when he realizes how pretty your smile is.
