Imagine you're at a Halloween carnival with Namjoon. Despite the gory decoration and the dense machine-created fog covering the ground, the bright lights and lively spirit fill your core with excitement. As the two of you venture deeper and deeper into the carnival, you start hearing blood-curdling screams.
"The haunted house must be pretty realistic this year," Namjoon muses as he notices the screams as well.
"Should we go check it out?" you smirk.
"Why not? We're here anyway," Namjoon shrugs.
The two of you look around for a moment, and after some searching, Namjoon taps you on your shoulder to point at a man holding a chainsaw. "I think it's that way," he says, reaching out to grab one of your hands with his, bringing you closer to your new destination. Yet, the closer you get, the more panicked you begin to feel. Nothing seems too out of the blue yet, but your gut is telling you to turn around and run. Your instincts seem to be proven right when you notice the man with the saw slicing into someone's arm.
"Joonie." You exhale shakily as your words get caught in your throat. You dig your heels into the ground desperately, gaze never leaving the man who now clutches his right side, screaming bloody murder as the dark crimson liquid gushes out of his body. "Namjoon, stop!" you plead.
Right at that moment, you make eye contact with the man holding the saw. He smiles at you, his lips curling up at a sinister angel before rolling a decapitated head in your direction. The cut at the bottom of the head isn't clean so the head rolls with an awkward thump in its rhythm.
"That's so cool," Namjoon whispers in astonishment as he squints his eyes, trying to get a closer look. "I wonder what material they used to make it look so real."
"Joonie," you begin to panic, shaking your hand that's still being held by Namjoon until he finally turns to look at you. "It's not fake."
