108 - Sim Jaeyun

Imagine your boyfriend is sitting at his desk, deeply immersed in the world of his studies, preparing diligently for an upcoming exam. Meanwhile, you find yourself reclining on his bed, reveling in the serene moments spent in his presence. Your attention is captivated by the graceful contours of his profile. His dedication to his studies shines through with every furrow of his brow and every subtle nibble on the back of his pencil.

Your rapt gaze doesn't escape his notice. Sensing your lingering eyes upon him, he slowly turns to meet your gaze. The corners of his lips tug upward into a tender smile as he beholds your adoration.

"Y/N," Jake murmurs, his voice soft yet filled with playful protest, "I find it impossible to concentrate when you look at me like that."

You feign innocence, a delicate smile playing on your lips, "Look at you how?"

"Like that," he insists, gesturing with his pencil. "Like you're hopelessly in love with me."

"But I am hopelessly in love with you," you shrug nonchalantly.

He groans, throwing his head back in mock exasperation while he turns back to his textbooks, but it's clear his attention remains elsewhere. "I'm going to fail this exam and it's going to be your fault." You giggle in amusement as you watch him melt back into his seat.

"No 'I love you' back?" you tease.

"Love, please," Jake sighs but you can practically hear the wide smile in his voice.

"Okay, okay, I'll buy you 20 minutes while I make us some snacks. You need brain food to power through this study session," you finally relent. As you roll off his bed and head towards his door, you pause for a moment to wrap him into a tender back hug, placing a soft kiss on his cheek.

"I love you, babe," he murmurs, turning his head to plant a kiss on your cheek as well.
