64 - Kim Taehyung

Imagine you're on a business trip with a group of carefully selected employees. Today is the first full day of the trip which means everyone's schedules are jammed pack with back-to-back meetings.

Currently, you're heading into your first meeting. As you step into the elevator with a cup of your favorite iced coffee in your hand, you wait for a few other employees to fill in. While you recognize most of them, there is one unfamiliar face that catches your attention.

"Hi, I'm Kim Taehyung," he introduces himself to the woman standing next to him. "I recently joined the company as a Senior Analyst Manager and am so excited to be here."

Everyone else nods and acknowledges the young man and some people also introduce themselves as well.

"Have you all been on this trip before? I heard the CEO calls this annual trip because they read that a team meeting at a new venue facilitates innovation."

"Yeah, this trip is usually where I come up with my best work and newfound motivation," someone else agrees with a proud hum.

"That's awesome! I heard the lead of today's meetings is cute, but kind of tough and rude."

Everyone standing in the elevator stiffens and the man standing next to you chokes on his on his breath. But before anyone else can continue the conversation further, the elevator arrives at the designated floor and everyone files into the large modern conference room.

As everyone finds their seat, you can still overhear the new employee spreading rumors about today's lead. But an amused smirk tugs on your lips when he gasps, finally noticing that you are now sitting in the lead chair at the head of the long conference table.

"Good morning, everyone," you address the room with a beaming smile, your gaze lingering on Taehyung a little longer and making him squirm in his seat. His facade has paled as if he's seen a ghost. "I hope your trip to this year's annual meeting went smoothly. It's great to see a lot of familiar faces and new team members. For those of you who don't know me yet, I'm Y/F/N and I will be leading all our meetings today."

Happy Monday, Dalgis! How'd y'all like this Tae imagine? Ngl, now that I'm in the corporate world myself, I felt an odd sense of excitement while writing this piece, lol. 

Did everyone watch the BTS firework show? I wish I was there to see it live - I bet it would've been an unforgettable experience. I got so emotional during the breathtaking show; it reminded me of how much our Tannies have accomplished. I am so unbelievably proud of them and hope they are all doing well. 

I will be heading out on a vacation next week so I will not be posting an update for the next two weeks. I will try my best to post something the day before I leave, but in case I'm too preoccupied with some last-minute packing, I wanted to give y'all a heads-up first. Thanks for your understanding, my precious Dalgis!
