42 - Jung Hoseok

Imagine that today is the day you plan on confessing to your crush. You and your best friend have been preparing for this moment for a while now. At first, you had only thrown the idea out as a joke. However, when your best friend encouraged you to do so and continuously hyped you up, you finally found the courage to follow through with the plan.

As you walk into the main school hallway, you instantly catch a glimpse of your crush. He isn't hard to spot when you've practically gotten accustomed to picking him out of the crowd the moment you first arrive on campus. And just like always, the mere sight of seeing him casually chatting with his friends by his locker releases a swarm of butterflies in your stomach.

Before you continue with your plan, you decide to make a quick pit stop at your locker first - just to pick up the textbooks you'll need for your first class just in case the bell rings after you confess.

When you turn back around to search for your crush once again, you're slightly puzzled when he's nowhere in sight. You wander around the hallways for a few minutes, wondering if he's already left for his first class. If that's the case, you can always push back your plan to break time or lunch.

However, just as you pass by the gymnasium, the brief image you catch through the small windows on the double doors breaks your heart. Your eyes widen and tears begin to pool in your eyes as you watch your crush make out with your best friend behind the bleacher.

Right as you spin around on your heel to walk in the opposite direction, you bump into someone's chest.

"Y/N? What's wrong?" A familiar voice asks. When you look up, you meet the gaze of Jung Hoseok, one of your older brother's best friends.

"I'm sorry, Hoseok," you apologize with a soft sniffle. "I wasn't watching where I was going."

"What happened?" he asks, gently reaching a hand up to wipe away the tears on your cheeks.

Happy Monday, Dalgis! How'd y'all like this Hobi imagine? I know it's short and doesn't give you much interaction with Hobi. But my main intention was to allow you to imagine the rest of this scenario how you see fit, hehe. 

I can't believe my winter break flew by in a blink of an eye and that I'm returning to school already. Unfortunately, I didn't get many chances to focus on my writing as my job demanded most of my time. But since this is the last semester of my undergraduate studies, I'm taking fewer courses so hopefully, I'll have time in between class sessions.
