-Good morning. - I felt a pair of arms around myself.
-Morning...- i groaned at him.
-Mer, you have to get out...You have an early shift today..-he reminded me, and gave a kiss into my neck.
-I don't want to get out...It's warm in here...Like a cocoon. - i turned towards him, but i still didn't open my eyes.
-I know...I enjoy lying in bed with you too...-he kissed my lips this time shortly, just to make me pull him back, by holding his neck. I slightly parted my mouth, as a sign that it's opened for him, and he accepted my invitation. Our tongues sunk into their usual dance, and i deepened the kiss, by tilting my head a bit to the left. He rolled me on top of him, and kept sharing his sweet-tasting lips, as my hands caressed his neck, and his curls. He stroked my face and flipped us over, so he was on top. He kissed into my neck again, making me forget everything. As i didn't pull away, instead made him stay by pulling on his shirt, sliding my hands underneath it, reaching his bare back, i followed the outline of his spine blindly, he fidgeted with the hem of my shirt. Surprisingly the bottom made it's way upper and upper, until it got pulled through my head, messing my already tangled hair up even more. Of course, his curls were still more or less perfect, even though i didn't give up on making a mess out of them. When i felt his tongue on my neck, and shoulders, a quiet moan escaped my lips, making him excited. A thought suddenly flashed into my absent-mind, and i broke us apart, by pushing him off.
-We cannot do this.. - i panted while lying next to him.
-Why? - he asked back smiling at me, and pulled me on top of himself again, our bare chests pressed up against each other.
-Your mother is here...-i whispered.
-Yeah, and you've already charmed her..
-Yeah, and do you remember how we've met? - i lifted my head seriously.
-Like this. - he grabbed my chin, and gave a soft kiss on my lips.
-Kind of...- i agreed.
-I don't want her to think that we're...you know..And I'd appreciate it if you could keep the making out sessions on a lower level in front of her...- i blushed.
-Don't like it? - he asked back brushing out some hair from my face.
-Not complaining...- i blushed again, but this time couldn't cover it. He chuckled at my reaction.
-I'll kiss you. She needs to get used to it. I'm planning on doing it often..
-Really? - i asked smiling childishly, and sent a shiver through him when i kept buckling my torso against him.
-Mhm..- he groaned.
-Good. - i answered, and suddenly moved off of him. I put my hair into a quick bun, and i felt his eyes on me, while i was doing so. I made my way over to the bathroom, shoving my back to him, and let the door open, so he could see into the other room, connected to ours. I wasn't disappointed when i pulled my shorts and panties off at the same time, and threw it into the cabinet of the used clothes, and caught his look on my body.
-Now you're just teasing...- he said after me, as i opened the shower door.
-Maybe a cold shower will help you. - i answered brazenly.
-Evil!
-Learnt it from somebody! - i shew him another look, disappearing completely.

-Good Morning! - i entered the kitchen with Derek behind myself. We were fully dressed, ready to leave to the hospital.
-Good Morning, dear! Good morning Derek! - she greeted us.
-Did you get a good sleep? - i asked her politely.
-Yes, thank you. This house is very comfortable. - she smiled at me, handing us two coffee pots.
-Your friends asked me to tell you that they've left early in the morning.
-Yes, thank you.
-So, mum, what are you planning on doing today?
-I was thinking of spending some time at the hospital while you're working, and meeting some old friends.
-Good idea! Maybe tonight we could eat out. We'll take you to our favorite restaurant. - he looked at me, and i nodded.
-That's a wonderful idea!
-When is your flight leaving tomorrow? - he asked again.
-Eight o'clock in the morning.

It was already five pm, when i could even take a breath. The whole day was just a big mess. Chief announced that we need to work harder, because we weren't the first trauma center. And it meant...That we needed to work harder. So I've been treating patients without a stop. Like all of the residents, and attendings and nurses. Interns were running from one corner to another, taking blood samples, doing charts. Patients were discharged, surgeries went on and on all day long. Every OR was strictly occupied. Until there wasn't any more patients who needed quick health care. Or nearly any patients. During the day approximately all of them received proper and perfect care, and...there was no more to do around here anymore. So i was finally able to take a breath. It was snowing heavily outside, and the frozen ice covered every inch of the roads. Which again meant one thing. Trauma. Incoming traumas. Numerous amount. At least that's what everybody thought. We were sitting in the ER, waiting for an ambulance tol roll in with a surgical case. But nothing happened. Even Bailey was confused.
-Is this what new shifts going to be like? - Alex asked us.
-Hope not. - i sighed.
-I can't believe it! It's snowing! The road is frozen! Ice everywhere. And not a single ambulance. - Christina complained.
-There are patients. They are just taking them to the other hospital in town. - Bailey appeared scaring us.
-You five, outside with me.
We did as we were told so, and followed Bailey, standing in the ambulance parking lot.
-How is Mcmama? - she asked me as we were walking slowly.
-Good. Surprisingly not bad.
-Meredith Grey, the one who claims mothers hate, is doing okay with Mcmama. Growing up!- she teased me. I just shook my head laughing with her. We hopped down next to each other outside.
-Someone will show up! Those rankings are a bunch of crap! We give the best possible health care!
-Is this the plan? - Christina asked criticizing.
-We're just waiting for someone to be so badly injured that they cannot go to Mercy West, since it's too far away- i explained.
-Would God be okay with that? - Izzie asked looking at me, as Alex gave her a blanket, seeing she was cold.
-I don't believe this. We are the best. You are the best. I trained you. - Bailey pointed to us in disbelief.
-Maybe we should just go back inside. - George got up, but Bailey's attention was quickly turned to an in rolling damaged limousine.
The driver, a bleeding lady in an evening gown, got out of the limousine and stammered to us.
-I..l drove all by myself.. - i looked in through the window, quickly changing into professional mode. The woman in the passenger seat was bloody as well, but they interrupted Bailey.
-We're not the patients. The patient is Billy, the...the driver. - one of them started trembling.
-He...he flew through the windshield. - the other took the words from her.
In the back, another dressed up woman was holding a man, i speculated Billy and she kept asking us.
-Help him...
-A gurney now! - Bailey shouted back. Cristina started applying pressure to stop a bleeding, jumping in to help Bailey.
-Come...We need to check you out too. - we helped the other women out, letting them lean on us with Izzie.
Betty, one of the luckily not injured women, had no clue what was going on. She kalt asking about what happened.
-I'll do a CT. Make sure she's okay. - Izzie explained to the other two women.
-We should've waited for an ambulance! - one of them complained, as Mark appeared in the corner.
-We did! But it took them so long! - i think Anna complained.
-I can't reach them Anna! I can't reach them!! - she started panicking. I immediately stepped to her.
-Take big breaths please. It's okay. - i comforted her, trying to avoid having to use an oxygen mask.
-I wish we hadn't gone to that party now..
-We should've gone with the boys! But i just hate it when they bring out those smelly cigars...-Sarabeth kept going.
-I'm going to stitch you up. - Mark stepped to Anna.
-You good? - she asked back hesitating.
-I don't want a scar.
-I'm the best, so please lie back. I need to do my job.
When the ladies were put in new gowns, and sitting in the hospital beds, mostly healed, only one of them kept asking still what has happened, i decided to go and find Christina. I saw her at the front door, with Bailey listening to the phone.
-What's up? - i asked her.
-Yang's dreaming about an incoming trauma. She's on the phone with dispatch, where the people keep on talking about three men, who're most likely going to Mercy West as well. - she sighed.
-Shh! They may be married to the ball gown ladies. - she whispered excited.
