Chapter 135

"Here it goes." Lucy mumbled.

Finch looked ready.

With a snap of her fingers, Finch disappeared.

"Will he be okay?" Kyouka turned to Lucy.

She looked unsure, "I hope so."

~Finch's Pov:~ {3rd Person}
Finch reappeared, at the airport.

"It was getting so stuffy in the-"

He spotted the Divine Being charging toward him.

"OH, PEANUT BUTTER SANDWICH ON A-"

"Finch?! Go!" Atsushi shouted.

The raven managed to fly and land on a nearby broken down vehicle.

The being came to a halt.

Fyodor was standing right in front of Atsushi. Taller, and in Bram's body.

Finch froze in shock.

"You're kidding."

"Greetings, ally." Fyodor spoke calmly, hands behind him.

"Pardon?" Finch turned to look at him.

"You are L/n's ability, are you not?"

"Yeah, but-"

"Then we're allies."

"Are you saying that Y/n.."

"She joined me."

Atsushi slowly looked up at Fyodor in shock, "She what?"

"That's not true!" Finch shouted, "Even if she did, I'm no ally of yours!"

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me, you uncivilized rodent!"

Fyodor's smile disappeared. He turned to the Divine Being, "Kill the bird."

The being took out amenogozen, and attacked Finch.

Finch quickly dodged the attacks.

But Atsushi saw too much to know what would happen, "Finch! Just go! Don't fight!"

Finch did as told, flying away as fast as he could.

As Fyodor lost sight of the bird he scoffed, "Leave the bird. It's not worth killing."

The being obeyed the order.

~Time Skip~
"Shit! Shit! Shit!"

Finch flew in the air, seeing the destruction Fyodor had caused.

"What has he done?!"

He continued to fly, looking around.

"The house! I just need to get to the house, get to the computer, and get that password! If I get the password, I can send the signal back into Y/n's head and she can stop this! Yes! Finch, you are a genius!"

His wings flapped even faster.

~Time Skip~
As Finch got closer to the house, his face fell.

"Oh..no..."

The house was destroyed. Debris had fallen to the ground.

Finch landed in front of the destruction, eyes wide.

"Where the hell is..."

A bark.

He immediately flew towards the noise.

Cheeto sat there, whimpering and scared.

"Cheeto?! Where's-"

His eyes met the other dog.

Cheeto kept whimpering.

Scout laid dead, debris had fallen on her.

"No...not you." Finch fought his tears.

Cheeto laid beside her, nudging her paw, trying to wake her up.

"She's gone, Cheeto..." Finch let the tears fall. He slowly approached Scout's body, "Scout's gone."

The dog finally looked away in grief, accepting Scout's death.

Finch pet Cheeto with his wing, "It's okay... C'mon, let's stop this."

~Time Skip~
Finch flew around the destroyed home, looking for a miracle.

"Where could the computer be?"

And to his relief and surprise, the computer was left untouched.

He landed in front of it. He used his head to push the computer open.

The screen read "12%".

"Oh, geez.."

Cheeto barked, sitting beside him.

"Any ideas?"

Just a stare.

"...We're off to a great start."
