you put it off as a night time thing,

these thoughts of self hatred and destruction,

these thoughts of self harm and leaving.

you know it will pass by morning.

until,

it becomes a morning thing.

and suddenly getting out of bed seems awfully daunting,

and your eyebags can no longer be hidden.

by the time it becomes an all day event,

 it's too late, 

the night time panic makes its way into the gaps of sunlight, 

and the loneliness starts to creep into even the most crowded of rooms.

you can no longer blame it on the silence,

or the loneliness of the night.
