i hope death feels like:
driving down the highway with all the windows down.
not being tired after waking up to your alarm.
the turn before your street you can feel even with your eyes closed.
a hug from your best friend after not seeing them for a while.
snuggling up in the corner of the couch with a blanket.
"i know it's for the better."
a compliment from a stranger.
finishing a book you've been working on.
your dog licking your face while you're crying.
smiling while you're sleeping.
opening a bag perfectly without ripping it.
smelling them on your sweatshirt.
"i have always loved you and i always will."
receiving long handwritten letters on your birthday.
the sound of your parents setting up christmas gifts under the tree at night.
taking off fuzzy socks under your bedsheets.
laughter in the middle of the night.
