no one ever talks about how hard it is growing up and seeing all your friends get their first boyfriends,
hearing people call them beautiful.
then always being the friend with nothing to say because you can't relate.
no one sees you or wants you in that way.
over time those feelings start to consume you,
and it makes you feel worthless,
ugly,
unappealing.
it's easy to love yourself when everyone around you confirms how amazing you are.
