i hate new year's.
it was made for people who like change,
not for people
who procrastinate,
who lie in bed,
wishing they were somewhere else.
it was made for people who make promises,
not for people
who promise things,
to themselves,
only to break them.
i hate new year's.
because it was made for the people who go out,
and see their friends.
not for people
who shut their curtains,
in their silent room,
just so that they don't have to feel
like they are missing out,
because of the stupid fireworks.
