yes, she was pretty. but i noticed how her right leg shook in class each morning. how i caught her staring out the window and suddenly realizing she zoned out. how she never brought a lunch to school and didn't ever seem to have the money to buy any. how she put her hands in her sleeves and wrapped them around her stomach. how she would always laugh around her friends but stay silent alone. how her eyes would glaze over during class, going who knows where. how her grades have started slipping because of her awful sleep schedule. how she craved validation from guys but always pushed them away. how she was afraid of failure. being pretty doesn't solve these problems. i wouldn't even call them problems, rather insecurities.
