"look at his face!" Kylaney whispers.I laugh. "What about it?"
"How uncomfortable he looks, the ancient, touch-starved baby." Kylaney cackles.
I laugh.
"They look so happy now."
I boop Legolas's nose then I boop Kylaney.
Kylaney boops me back.
"Ready to kick some orc butt?" I ask.
"Always." Kylaney grabs an assortment of weapons and then cackles.
I look at the remaining fellowship. "How about you guys?"
"Though to our deaths we may go, but do not release all hope," Aragorn tells me.
"To victory, we shall ride, if for naught but to see you in peace, fair lady" Legolas kisses my hand.
"Ah! Enough of your daft words, to death or victory I'll take down more foes than any!" Gimli brags.
"You wish, Gimli."
"As for you, Legolas and Aragorn; that was DEEP."
"ALRIGHT! Let's try not to die!" A random warrior trips Kylaney "OI-"
"HEY!" I shout.
Kylaney gets up and turns to Aragorn and Legolas.
"Do we really need this guy? Cause he has a very stabable completion..."
"Yeah, what do y'all think?"
"He is light of frame, I believe she could, yes," Legolas admits.
"If she can't I'll be willing to help, that's the man who hit her on the here," Gimli says.
"Every warrior is in need- wait he HIT her?" Aragorn asks defensively.
"Snap," I add.
"Yep! I still got the bruise it's super cool, it turned purple and then green" she tries to pull up her sleeve to show Aragorn.
Aragorn starts walking away.
"Ara-Aragorn?" Kylaney asks.
Kylaney stares. "Uhhh, what is he doing?"
"I'm not quite within earshot... he's saying something about not hitting you or, something like that.."
"Bet Leggy will know though," I tell her.
Aragorn walks back over to us.
"What did you do?" Kylaney asks him.
"I gave our companion a warning about striking another of our forces," Aragorn replies.
"Of course." Legolas raises an eyebrow.
Why was that so cute?? I ask myself
"I didn't hear anything, I just saw a man scared for his life."
"Find out from yo boy what happened," Kylaney whispers to me.
"Though maybe after the battle." She adds.
"I can do it now if you're really curious."
"Yes please, cause whatever it was it worked."
I walk over to Legolas and slightly pull him aside.
"What exactly did Aragorn tell him?"
"Aragorn's bearing suggested that he wished for it not to be shared."
"Why?"
"I do not feel that he wishes for me to tell, in fact, I believe that he momentarily forgot I could hear." He tells me.
"So you're not going to tell me?"
Legolas smirks. "I did not say that exactly... would you be open to a bet?"
"Yes." I grin.
"If Kylaney kills more orcs with her sais than Gimli with his axe, then I will tell you what Aragorn told the soldier."
"Hmm. Fine." I agree.
"And before you tell her... you can't."
"Dang it, Legolaaasss!" I whine.
I cross my arms. "But, fine."
Legolas smirks.
"What do I tell her? I can't just tell her nothing, We've been talking too long."
Kylaney runs up to me. "Sooo?"
"Never mind," I tell Legolas
"Good luck..." He says ominously.
"Uhhhh, what's with him?" Kylaney shakes her head. "So did you find out?"
"He's not gonna tell me, but I have a feeling that after the battle I will get it out of him."
I smirk at Legolas.
"Ohhhhhh ~got something planned?"
I nod.
"Hehe." Kylaney looks over. "Oh! They're lining up, we should hurry."
"Oh, yeah. Let's go."
I motion to the fellowship. "Come on, dorks."
~in position~
Aragorn is shouting orders.
Legolas looks at me " 'dorks'? you will have to explain that one after the battle."
"Maybe I will, maybe I won't."
"Ahh, Domestics already?" Kylaney asks.
I start smacking her.
"Kidding! Kidding!"
I laugh.
I turn back to Legolas. "If I get my way, I will explain."
"A cruel heart you have, Lady Y/n."
I stick my tongue out at him. "You started it."
Kylaney frowns. "I'm confused and I don't like it."
"Argh! you could've picked a better spot!" Gimli tells Legolas
Gimli sees Aragorn. "Well, lad, whatever luck you like by, let us hope it lasts us the night."
I turn to Kylaney. "Don't worry, I will explain after the battle." "Just focus on killing all of the orcs you can"
"Thank you." She smiles at me.
"Your friends are with you, Aragorn." Legolas assures.
"Let us hope that they last the night," Gimli adds.
"I dunno, seems like a cool way to die," Kylaney says causally.
Legolas and I stare at her.
"I was joking...mostly. Just trying to loosen the Tension!"
"Don't die, Please." I raise my voice a bit so the rest of the fellowship can hear. "That goes for you guys too."
"I assure you we will try." Aragorn walks away and starts shouting orders in Sinderin.
"How can someone so greasy look that majestic? It should be impossible!" Kylaney says.
I giggle a bit. "Must be a gift."
"Unfair. That's all I'm saying."
"Wait, she likes Aragorn?" Legolas asks.
"I DoNt!" Kylaney glares at me. "What did you say?"
"I didn't say anything!"
"What's going on out there?" Gimli asks.
"Shall I describe it to you, or would you like me to find you a box?"
I choke on laughter.
"if you didn't say anything then how-? Oh, shzzlesticks." Kylaney draws her bow "Let's do this thing."
