~in the morning~

I wake up and look at Legolas who is already awake.

Legolas smiles before kissing my cheek. "Good morning, Meleth nin. How did you sleep?"

"I slept well." I say with a smile before cuddling up to Legolas.

Legolas wraps his arms around me. "Are you still tired, Aurë?"

"Yes."

Legolas strokes my hair and softly sings in elvish, which later puts me back to sleep.

~an hour later~

I open my eyes and Legolas smiles. "Good morning, again, Aurë."

"Good morning, Leggy." I kiss him.

"I'm going to go help the Elflings train." I say before kissing him once more.

"Would you like me to accompany you?" Legolas asks as I get up and change.

"If you want to, the children look up to the great archer, the Woodland realm prince."

"What about the princess of the woodland realm?"

"I suppose so." Say while slinging my bow on my back.

Legolas gets up and gets dressed.

We walk out the door.

We're almost outside when Thranduil stops Legolas. "I wish to speak with you, Legolas."

"Yes, Ada."

"You can go ahead." Legolas whispers to me.

I nod and leave.

I walk out to where the Elflings are training I join them and help them.

~about 15 minutes later~

Legolas comes back and stands next to me.

"What did you father want to talk to you about."

Legolas pulls me aside. "He told me he thinks I'm ready to take his throne..."

"That's great!..-but that means we can't live in Gondor like we planned."

Legolas nods. "Are you okay with that?"

I smile softly. "Of course."

Legolas looks relieved.

I kiss his cheek. "I'm going to get back to training, my king."

Legolas rolls his eyes with a smile. "Okay, my Queen." Legolas plays along.

Three children walk up to us and tug on Legolas's tunic to grab his attention. Legolas looks down at them with a warm smile.

"Prince Legolas, can you play with us?" One Elleth asks him.

Legolas kneels down next to them. "Of course, what would you like to play?

An Ellon draws his sword. "Sword fight!"

The rest of the children draw their swords.

Legolas stands up and unsheathes his sword.

"Now!" The children shout.

I laugh as Legolas sword fights the children.

They try their best to beat Legolas but Legolas easily blocks each of their swords.

I walk back over to the other children and help them train.

~later~

I finish training and Legolas finishes playing with the children.
