"What even are we?"

Its the next morning Ellie didn't want to sleep on the couch, she also didn't want Joao to wake up so she slept in his bed. 

It's around 8am Joao starts to open his eyes, he stretches and sits up on the couch. He finally realizes Ellie's not there so he gets up to look for her. 

He walks upstairs and opens his door to his room, to see Ellie sprawled out on his bed. He laughs and climbs onto his bed and lays down next to her. 

He stares at her admiring her face thinking to his self how did he get so lucky to find a girl like her. 

Joao decides he wants to mess with her so he gets off the bed and heads into his bathroom to fill a cup with water. 

He walks over to the bed and try's to keep himself from laughing, he angles the cup perfect and pours the water on her. 

She sits up really fast "I'm literally gonna kill you omg!" she starts to get off the bed and Joao starts to burst in laughter. 

She grabs the cup from Joao's hand and runs into the bathroom to fill it up, he starts to run downstairs hide from her. 

She walks downstairs with the cup full of cold water, "You ain't getting away with this Joao Felix!" she shouts.

He sees her walk into the kitchen and slowly walks behind and her and scares her making the water splash all over her face.

"OMG YOU SUCK" she yells, Joao can't stop laughing. "I'm sorry but it's so funny you literally filled up the cup just to splash your self.".

She rolls her eyes at him "Watch your back, i'm going to take a shower." she says as she walks up stairs. 

"Can I shower with you!" he shouts "Don't even think about it!" she shouts back. 

Joao sits down by the kitchen counter and goes on his to instagram, he checks his messages and see's either Ellie doesn't deserve you or you guys are perfect messages. He wants to stop this but he doesn't know how. 

His phone starts to ring, it's Ronaldo. "Hey Felix! So Santos wanted me to let you know that we have fittings for our jerseys at 3 can you make it?". 

"Oh that's today?" Joao asks. "Yeah they moved it because they didn't want to risk for all the stuff to come late for the cup.". 

"Yeah I should be able to make it, can I bring Ellie with me?" he asks, "I guess I mean it's just jersey fitting it's not like we are practicing or anything." Ronaldo says. 

"Alright see you soon!" Joao says as he hangs up the phone. 

*15 minutes later*

Ellie finishes blow drying her hair, she goes into her bag and realizes she doesn't have a sweatshirt to wear. "Joao can you come here!" she shouts. "Yeah!" he shouts back.

He comes into the bathroom "Whats up?", "I don't have a sweatshirt to wear can I borrow one of yours please." she asks. He nods and goes into his closet to find one. 

He finds a white hoodie with his last name and his soccer number on it he makes her wear that one so later everyone at the fitting knows thats his girl. 

Ellie sits on Joao's bed and motions Joao to come over, he lays between her legs with his head on her stomach. She plays with his hair.

"El." Joao says, "what." she says back. "What even are we?" Joao questions.

Ellie takes a minute to think about it, "I don't know? Are we friends with benefits or something more?" she asks.

"I don't know, do you want to be something more?" he asks her. "I do but what's gonna happen with all your fans?". 

Joao sits up and faces her "You really think their gonna stop me with being with you? Because if you think that you're literally crazy." he says. 

She smiles and she leans in and they start kissing. Ellie pulls away, "So what does this mean?". 

"That you're mine." Joao says while looking at her. Ellie looks away and she starts to blush a little. Joao smiles. 

Joao remembers about the jersey fitting, "Oh so I have to go try on jerseys in 2 hours but we have to leave soon because it's far do you wanna come with?" Joao asks. 

"Yeah sure." Ellie says as she goes on her phone. "I'm gonna go get ready." Joao says.

Ellie gets a call from Jamie, she answers "Whats up Jamie?", "Hey girlie so just wanted to let you next week we have to start looking for an outfit for the world cup premiere ok?".

"Ok do you have any ideas already?" Ellie asks, "Well is there any country your really supporting in the cup?" Jamie asks. '"Give me one second Jamie.". 

She puts the phone to the side, "Joao my assistant wants to know what country i'm rooting for in the world cup what should I say?" she asks. "Well whats your nationality?" he asks her. 

"I'm mostly Portuguese I think?" she says, "Then tell her you're rooting for Portugal dummy." he says to her. She flicks him off and she picks up the phone. 

"I'm rooting for Portugal Jamie." she tells her. "Ok so will find an outfit with either green red or white colors in it, sounds good?". 

"Yeah sounds good Jamie, i'll see you next week love ya girlie!", "Love you to El". Ellie hangs up and sets her phone down. 

"Why did you want to know what team to root for El?" Joao asks. "Because my assistant wanted to know to help me wear an outfit for the premiere." Ellie says.

"Oh that makes sense, but you're also rooting for Portugal cause your boyfriends on it" he smirks at her. "Your so cringy but cute at the same time it's confusing." she says.

He laughs, "Lets start to leave don't wanna be late!" he shouts as he heads downstairs.

"Ok! I'll be right there." Ellie says and she grabs all her things and starts to head downstairs. 

Joao heads out into the car and waits for Ellie, Ellie goes into the car and they start to drive. As they start driving Joao places his hand on her thigh. Ellie smiles to her self. 

They both have no idea what's about to come in the next few weeks.
