🌹Part 5A : Chapter Three

~Year 2224~
~Daciana~

Daciana typed away on her computer when a kiss came to the back of her head.

"Mornin'." Mitch tiredly greeted before rubbing her head.

"Hi." Daciana greeted as she leaned back and looked at Mitch. "How'd you sleep?"

"I don't like when you stay up all night and won't cuddle me," Mitch grumbled and Daciana smiled at him.

"I'll keep that in mind and next time tell work not to give me a job that would take a week without sleep to do properly in the time frame they gave me." Daciana sassed as Mitch walked to the kitchen.

"You made French toast."

"I did, your dad wanted to go on an early run so I made him breakfast."

"When was this?"

"Like ten minutes ago," Daciana answered as Mitch got himself a plate of French toast. Mitch sat down next to Daciana and poured syrup on his food.

"What are you working on?" Mitch asked as he tried to look at Daciana's screen.

"A backyard for a really posh asshole," Daciana answered as she showed her husband what she was working on. "You wanna see it in proper backyard fashion?"

"I would love to," Mitch answered and Daciana smiled before hitting a few buttons on her computer. Mitch kissed her bare shoulder, she was in one of his muscle shirts and a pair of shorts. "It's going to look beautiful in real life," Mitch whispered before going back to eating. "That's going to look beautiful when it's made." Mitch pointed out and Daciana smiled at him.

"Thank you. I'm almost finished." Mitch smiled at his wife before finishing his food. Mitch got up and picked up his things before walking to the kitchen to put the plate in the dishwasher. He sat back down and smiled at Daciana as she put her computer to sleep. "Are you gonna go take a nap?" Mitch asked and Daciana looked at him before nodding.

"Yeah. Goodnight." Daciana stated before leaving Mitch at the table

"Wait, I'll join you," Mitch called as he got up and followed Daciana.

"No, you have to spend time with your father when he gets back."

"He won't be back for an hour or so then he'll take a twenty-minute shower... So we have at least an hour and a half of cuddles." Mitch stated and Daciana let out a hum before she went to their bathroom. Mitch climbed into bed as he waited for Daciana to leave the bathroom. After a few minutes, Daciana climbed into bed and laid her head on his chest. "Goodnight, my love," Mitch whispered as Daciana rubbed his stomach.

"I want a puppy," Daciana mumbled.

"We have foxes, we don't need a puppy." Mitch sighed as Yoda jumped on the bed. "Speaking of our runaway foxes." Mitch hummed as Daciana continued to rub his stomach and side. Mitch ran a hand threw her hair before kissing her head.

Daciana walked out of the bedroom, frowning.

"Mitch," Daciana whined and Mitch got off the couch and walked over to her. "Why'd you leave?"

"'Cause dad got back," Mitch whispered before picking her up.
