🌹Part 5B : Chapter Five

~Year 2230~
~Daciana~

Daciana stirred and Mitch raised his head before smiling at Daciana as her door opened and Agnus came running in and jumped on the bed.

"Hi, papa." Agnus greeted before forcing his way into his mother's arm, she was tightly holding onto Mitch's arm.

"Hey, big man." Mitch greeted the four-year-old as he got comfortable.

"Mama's birthday."

"Yes, it is mama's birthday." Mitch nodded before kissing Daciana's shoulder.

"What doing?" Agnus asked and Mitch hummed.

"Mama and Papa are going out to dinner tonight, and you are spending time with Pops." Agnus let out a hum as Daciana stirred before lifting her head.

"What are you talking about?"

"Agnus wants to know the plan for your birthday."

"I have a doctor's appointment, baby. Then Mama, papa, Agnus, and Pops are going to the dino museum. Then Pops is going to take Agnus for the night so Mama and Papa can go get dinner." Daciana answered before sitting up and looking at Mitch confused.

"What time did you get in last night?"

"A few hours ago... I think 2 am."

"Why didn't you wake me?" Daciana asked and Mitch shrugged.

"Didn't want to. I just wanted to crawl in bed and spoon my wife." Daciana sent Mitch a look. "Soon to be wife."

"Few more years." Daciana yawned before getting up and Mitch smiled when he saw his shirt fall over her thighs.

"Waffles?" Agnus asked and Daciana nodded.

"I can make waffles." Daciana hummed before putting on her slippers while Mitch got out of bed. "Papa can join us once he puts on pants." Mitch smiled at Daciana before winking as Daciana left the room and went to the kitchen. "What kind of waffles do you want."

"'Anana." Daciana nodded before placing Agnus down and went to the fridge to grab what was needed for waffles. Daciana felt arms wrap around her waist before a kiss came to her neck.

"You looked peaceful while asleep so I didn't want to wake you," Mitch whispered and Daciana nodded before resting her head against his. "Banana waffles?"

"Yeah," Daciana answered and Mitch nodded before standing up.

"I'll make breakfast you make some tea and cuddle our son on the couch," Mitch said before moving Daciana away from the counter.

"Okay." Daciana hummed before picking Agnus up and walking to the kettle. Mitch smiled at Daciana before grabbing her chin and pulling her into a kiss.

"Happy birthday, my love," Mitch whispered and Daciana smiled at him.

"Thank you," Daciana whispered and Mitch's smile grew.

"Now go relax, my love." Mitch hummed and Daciana nodded before walking to the couch and lying down with Agnus on her chest.

"Are you and Papa happy?" Agnus whispered and Daciana nodded.

"Yeah, mama and papa are happy." Daciana nodded as Mitch walked over to them.

"Here's your tea, my love." Mitch mused before kissing her forehead.

"Thank you." Daciana hummed and Mitch smiled before going back to the kitchen.

"Marriage?" Agnus asked and Daciana let out a hum.

"In a little while," Daciana answered.

"Now," Agnus ordered and Daciana let out a chuckle.

"That's not how that works, baby," Daciana stated and Agnus let out a huff.

"Now, I want Mama and Papa together!" Agnus snapped and Mitch looked at him from the kitchen.

"Mama and Papa are together." Daciana calmly said.

"Not!" Agnus snapped and Daciana let out a sigh.

"Hey, big man, that's not okay. We don't raise our voices at mama." Mitch scolded and Agnus crossed his arms as he pouted.

"Did you have a good birthday, my love?" Mitch asked as the two got ready for bed.

"I did."

"Why did Agnus get angry earlier?" Mitch asked as he left the bathroom.

"He's upset we aren't married," Daciana answered as she removed the decorative pillows from the bed.

"We could get married tomorrow, that would stop the issues." Mitch offered and Daciana sent him a pointed look. "I thought so." Mitch softly said. "But it's been two years, we've been doing amazing this whole time... And you've gotten rid of many of your rules why not that one?" Mitch asked as Daciana climbed into bed.

"Because I'm not," Daciana answered as Mitch climbed in next to her.

"Are you scared I'm going to leave again?" Mitch asked and Daciana shook her head.

"Nope. You did that and you'd never see Agnus again." Daciana answered and Mitch frowned.

"Goodnight, my love. I love you." Mitch whispered and Daciana let out a yawn.

"I love you more," Daciana mumbled before turning away from Mitch. Mitch moved closer to her and wrapped his arms around her waist before kissing her shoulder.

"Just so you know the second the four years are up I will be down on one knee and asking."

"And I will say yes," Daciana stated and Mitch grinned.

"Promise?"

"Promise."
