🌹Pat 5B : Chapter Six

~Year 2230~
~Mitch~

Mitch woke up alone and became annoyed before he got out of bed and ventured to find his girlfriend.

"Why did you leave bed, we agreed to stay in bed until the other woke up?" Mitch huffed and Daciana looked at him, obviously exhausted. "Is he okay?" Mitch asked, his anger gone.

"He's sleeping." Daciana yawned as Mitch walked over to her and frowned when he saw Agnus asleep in his mother's arms.

"I'll take a shift, you get some rest," Mitch said as he held his arms out.

"Just sit with me so I can fall asleep against you," Daciana stated and Mitch nodded before sitting next to her. Mitch wrapped his arm around her shoulders and Daciana leaned against him. "Goodnight, darling." Mitch smiled at her before pulling the blanket off the back of the couch and wrapping it around her and their son. The two leaned back before Mitch kissed her head. After a few minutes, the two fell asleep, Mitch's head resting against Daciana's.

"Mama?" Agnus asked as he shook Daciana.

"What time is it, baby?" Daciana mumbled before letting out a yawn.

"Playtime," Agnus answered and Daciana nodded before looking at where Mitch fell asleep.

"Hey, love. I made breakfast, and cuddled Agnus so you can rest a little longer." Mitch answered and Daciana nodded before getting up. "How'd you sleep?"

"Fine," Daciana answered before kissing his collarbone.

"I don't have work today so after I drop Agnus off at daycare I can come back and we can cuddle before you have to go to work."

"That sounds nice." Daciana agreed and Mitch smiled at her.

"Why don't you go get dressed, big man?"

"But Mama helps me."

"Can you pick out an outfit so Mama and Papa can talk?" Agnus let out an exasperated huff before stomping off. "Come here, love." Mitch mused and Daciana.

"I want a baby," Daciana mumbled and Mitch looked at her surprised.

"What?" Mitch asked as he stared at her.

"I want a baby."

"Okay, let me find a way to heal you then we can start trying for a baby," Mitch whispered and Daciana shook her head.

"I already found a way."

"We gotta get married," Mitch whispered and Daciana looked at him. "If you want a baby we are getting married. We can take Agnus and go to the courthouse after you get out of work."

"Courthouse closes at 4:30. I get out of work at 6," Daciana stated and Mitch looked at her.

"Tomorrow?"

"Closed, government holiday."

"Fuck." Mitch mumbled as Agnus walked over to them.

"Mama, I'm ready."

"Okay, let's get you dressed." Daciana hummed before moving away from Mitch when he pulled her back and into a kiss.
