🌹Part 5A : Chapter Six

~Year 2225~
~Daciana~

"Baby. Baby, we gotta talk." Mitch cooed and Daciana shifted. "Love, I made your favorite breakfast."

"It's my birthday, fuck off," Daciana mumbled.

"I'm aware of that, yeah." Mitch chuckled before kissing Daciana's forehead. "Now, come on. It's your favorite."

"Cuddle me."

"I will cuddle you after you eat." Mitch hummed and Daciana sighed before turning to lay on her back and sat up. "Here you are." Mitch mused as he picked up the tray and put it on her lap. "I hope you enjoy your breakfast, my love. I will be back in a little bit."

"Where are you going?"

"I just have some errands."

"Is this about the surprise party you have been planning?" Mitch frowned before sheepishly nodding.

"Yeah."

"If anyone shoves anything in my face I will stab them," Daciana stated before drinking some of her tea and Mitch nodded before kissing her head.

"Deal." Mitch agreed before Daciana kissed him. "I love you."

"I love you more."

"I'll see you later," Daciana stated and Mitch smiled at his wife before nodding.

"Yes, you will."

"What time is the party?"

"I will be dragging you out of the house at 4 so we can meet everyone at the Spice shop for 6." Daciana frowned. "I'm planning an early dinner for us, from 4:30 to 5:30."

"Okay, fancy dinner or laid-back dinner?"

"Formal, not fancy but you do need to dress up," Mitch answered before walking to their closet and pulling out a simple black dress. "I think this dress will be perfect for dinner and your 24th birthday party," Mitch stated before hanging the dress up on the hanger on the outside of the door. "Now, I have to go. I'll be back in an hour and we can do whatever you want until 3." Daciana nodded as she ate her food.

"Okay. See you later, darling."

"Yes, you will, my love." Mitch mused before leaving Daciana alone in bed.

Mitch lead Daciana to the front door of the spice shop before opening the door.

"Surprise!" Voices rang threw and, despite the fact that she knew, it scared Daciana as she tightened her grip on Mitch's arm.

"I hate surprise parties," Daciana mumbled and Mitch nodded as the two walked into the spice shop, instead of standing at the door.

"You okay?" Mitch whispered and Daciana nodded. "Good, I love you," Mitch whispered before kissing her temple. "Let's go party."

"Is there alcohol?"

"I don't know, I was only involved with the planning because I'm the only person that would be able to get you here," Mitch answered and Daciana nodded before walking over to Rosalee and hugged her.
