🌹Part 5B : Chapter Four

~Year 2228~
~Three weeks later~
~Mitch~

Mitch sat in his office, working away, when a knock rang threw. Mitch looked up and smiled when he saw Daciana pushing the door open.

"Hey, what's wrong, sweetheart?" Mitch asked and Daciana shook her head.

"Nothing, just thought I'd pop in and say hey... So hey." Daciana answered and Mitch grinned before getting up and walking over to Daciana.

"Hi." Mitch greeted her as he smiled at her.

"And I made cookies, so here are some cookies," Daciana stated as she held out a Tupperware container.

"Thank you, is our son outside?" Mitch asked and Daciana shook her head.

"He's home sick with Catina."

"What's wrong with him?"

"Pneumonia." Mitch gave a soft 'oh'.

"Like you. Every season?"

"Yep," Daciana answered as Mitch pulled her into the room, closing the door behind her. Mitch pulled her to his desk and picked her up, placing her on it. "What are you doing?" Daciana asked as Mitch grabbed the cookies and placed them next to his tea.

"Kissing you," Mitch answered as he placed his hand on her jaw and cheek.

"Oh?"

"Yeah." Mitch nodded as he leaned closer.

"I have to go back to work." Daciana quickly said and Mitch let out a hum.

"Do you now?"

"Uh-huh." She nodded before trying to push Mitch away.

"You can't spare five minutes?"

"Nope. I gotta go."

"We should get away for the weekend or something," Mitch whispered and Daciana looked at him. "I know you said we had to wait three months... But, baby, how is this fair? We both want what I am thinking, and I respect that you want to wait before we start 'dating' but you are not having fun with the waiting and neither am I."

"No, now I have to go... So please move." Mitch licked his lips before pulling her face closer and she inhaled sharply.

"I don't think I want to let you go," Mitch whispered and Daciana's mouth opened slightly. Mitch stared at her before smiling at her.

"Kiss me," Daciana whispered and Mitch was more than happy to oblige. He picked her up before sitting in his chair, it rolling back slightly, as she pulled his face closer to her. After a minute, or so, Daciana pulled away and Mitch smiled at her "I need to go or I'll be late for a meeting." She mumbled and Mitch's smile grew before he kissed her again.

"I will talk with you later, my love."

"Okay," Daciana mumbled before quickly leaving Mitch's office, and that made him more smug than he thought it would.

"Couldn't get enough of me earlier?" Mitch asked as he answered the call from Daciana.
