As I began my senior year
I began to see the reality of my life
After I graduate
I am on my own
I get to become what I am
It seems so unreal and scary
the what-ifs running through my head
attempting to frighten me
but now I am more prepared to handle those what if
So if my plan doesn't work out, what
I can come up with a new plan
Life is so unexpected, and it will give you many twists and surprises.
even if you don't want to
There's no point in fighting what's out of my control
I am learning to let go
But I still have so much to learn and grow
This is my senior year
the year of changes and acceptance
if you are a senior reading this,
Keep going. You are almost at the finish line
You will be on your own after that
Keep your family and friends close
It's okay not to have your life figured out
We got the 2023 class!
