Adrian was sitting in his dorm, staring out the window into the water. Graham had been telling Miles how Dumbledore gave him the Slytherin Quidditch captain position. "That's brilliant, mate!" said Miles. Cassius entered the dorm with a smile, throwing himself on his bed.

"Gosh." said Cassius looking up at the ceiling. Adrian turned to look at him, making a face. Graham and Miles looking at one another.

"You okay there, Cas?" asked Graham with a face.

"I think i'm in love with your sister." said Cassius. Adrian rolled his eyes, looking back out of the window. Graham shook his head and massaged his temples.

"Don't be." said Graham.

"After one date?" snorted Miles, looking at Cassius.

"She's so interesting, she was explaining how our magic works." said Cassius sitting up, looking at the three boys. "How it compares to muggles!"

"Didn't I say she was?" said Miles making a face.

"Dont be in love with my sister." said Graham, narrowing his eyebrows. "No offense mate, but I think she just said yes to your date because she wants to get over Weasley."

"That's okay! I'll help her forget him." said Cassius with a smile. Graham gave him a look and shook his head.

"Gross." said Graham.

"Y/n doesn't fancy you, Cas, you know this." said Miles sitting on his own bed now. He glanced towards Adrian, seeing that he was zoning out into the water.

"How'd you know?" said Cassius with a face. "You seen the way she was kissing me yesterday at the party."

"She was also kissing Miles." said Graham. "She disappeared with Miles, not you."

"Nothing happened though!" said Miles quickly feeling Adrian's side eye.

"I'll be her rebound." said Cassius with a grin.

"That's disgusting." said Graham making a face.

"Yeah, kinda is." said Miles making the same face Graham had.

"Anyways, you said you were Slytherin Quidditch captain now?" said Cassius rolling his eyes. "That sounds like a celebration."

"Another party?" said Graham with a smile.

So, as the week went on, Y/n often found herself everywhere but where she should be. "Y/n, what are you doing with Cassius?" said Hannah walking down the hall with her.

"Nothing, I couldn't imagine doing anything with him." said Y/n with a chuckle. Hannah turned to look at Y/n, tilting her head.

"You're still not talking to Adrian?" asked Hannah. Y/n's smile disappeared, shaking her head. "Why?"

"Hannah." said Y/n turning to her.

"But you're messing with Cassius?" said Hannah with a face. Cedric, Sebastian and Abraham were coming down the hall as Y/n smiled.

"Cassius isn't the one I want to mess with." said Y/n. Hannah's eyes widen, turning to her best friend. Cedric wrapped his arms around Hannah and kissed her cheek as Abraham turned to Y/n with a smile.

"Hey." said Abraham.

"Hi." said Y/n returning the smile. Hannah glanced between the two, her eyes nearly popping out her head.

"I heard there's going to be another Slytherin party this weekend." said Abraham. Y/n nodded as he chuckled. "Cool, uh— do you want to maybe—"

"He's asking you out on a date, Y/n." laughed Cedric. Y/n chuckled and nodded her head again.
