The more Midoriya struggled to get free of the chains, the more villains would push him down. Pretty soon, only Muscular was strong enough to hold him down. He'd gotten free of the cuffs, so he was surprised he hadn't been able to get free of the chains yet.
"I'd stop struggling if I were you, my child." AFO called from the screen.
Everyone turned their heads to the screen, except for Midoriya, who had to look up. Shigaraki and Midoriya were the most surprised. They never thought that AFO would openly discuss something so precious as family.
"Wha... What do you mean?" Midoriya stuttered.
Todoroki and Bakugo looked at the greenete on the floor, and then back at the screen, which now showed AFO. They looked nothing alike.
"You had a father once upon a time. You also had a quirk once upon a time, but like any good father, I decided I wanted your quirk, so I stole it from you. Then, I left your mother, and erased the memory of me, and put in some stupid dead guy in my place." AFO reported calmly.
Muscular let go of Midoriya, and he jumped up to his feet. After years of waiting to meet his father, or even knowing what his father looked like, he never thought he'd come face-to-face with the monster of a dad that (stood?) before him.
"What's my quirk then?" Midoriya managed before he started hyperventilating.
Todoroki and Bakugo caught him before he could fall onto his back, which would probably hurt him. None of them had used their quirk for their own use in so long, that none of them wanted to (We don't pay attention to the fact that Bakugo's quirk got Todoroki out of his chains).
Bakugo was getting angrier and angrier at AFO. If Deku had a quirk, why did this man steal it? He thought. My own father was a wimp, and for fifteen years we heard nothing about Deku's father. Now, the boss villain is his dad?!
Midoriya could sense how angry Bakugo was getting, but he didn't want to make it worse. Anything he did to help Bakugo, Bakugo took it as looking down on him. He couldn't have that now.
"That makes two of us with a terrible father," Todoroki whispered, his voice quavering.
The word father echoed in Midoriya's head. He was still deep in denial. He'd thought his father would be a regular civilian. Then again, he was happy with the way things were, so he never put much thought into it.
The silence that followed after Midoriya's question was killing all of them. If he had a quirk, what was it? He'd dreamed of having a quirk for so long, but he never thought he had one.
"It was the last quirk I gave you," AFO finally said, "Fire breathing. With all the quirks I stole, I never thought that one of those would be passed down onto my child. I thought you'd get my quirk, but alas, you didn't, so I stole it."
AFO looked Midoriya in the eye, then Todoroki, and lastly, Bakugo. He then looked at Monoma, Dabi, and then Toga. His eye areas felt more icy than normal. They could tell that something was getting planned inside the cold, dark room.
"Midoriya, Todoroki, Bakugo, and even Monoma, will need to be restrained. They will not be joining Muscular, Shigaraki, Twice, and Kurogiri on the next mission." He said, looking between Toga and Dabi.
The four students got into a square, fear filling each of their eyes. Even if they had joined, willingly or not, this scared them. At least one of them had been in every mission since they'd joined.
When one of them walked up to the square, they were met with a punch, ice or fire, explosions, or their own quirk. Sneak attacks weren't going to work.
Muscular was their last hope. He walked over, and knocked Bakugo out. He grabbed his neck, and chucked him over to the wall. The villains scrambled to get him chained to the wall, quirk canceling cuffs on.
The rest of the students watched, horror filling their eyes. Each of them got caught off guard as they were dragged back to their wall. When Monoma fought back, Muscular knocked him out. When the villains were ready to go, all of them were unconscious. Kurogiri teleported Shiggy, Muscular, and Twice over to the dorm.
