The bartender slid a small glass towards me, it's brim filled with vodka. I looked at him slightly confused, this wasn't what I ordered no matter how tempted I was, I needed to be sober. "I ordered an orange juice, not this sir." I whispered, not once taking my eyes off the small glass. It was like the alcohol was calling my name, everything that had happened with Ellie recently was getting to me then there's the kiss with Karlie. If I could trust Cara with my secret I'd be sat at home talking to her right now, not sat in a sleazy bar with temptation all around me; but it was merely the only place open in the early hours of the morning. I had been here since I left the apartment, I was almost certain that I had drank my weight in OJ. The bartender nodded, extending his arm to someone in the distance whom I didn't have no intention of looking at. "The blonde lady over there ordered it you, with specific instructions for you to go over to her table."
I sighed, trust me to have someone hit on me in the bar by buying me a drink. Was I a ladies magnet tonight or what? I turned my head to the direction the bartender had been pointing previously before he started to wipe down glasses. My eyes couldn't believe what I was seeing, the blonde was grinning at me and waved at me; Ellie had obviously lied to me about when she was entering the US and text Cara to let her know where I was. I walked over, leaving the vodka shot on the bar even though I was almost certain I needed that for what was about to go down. I slid in the booth were my girlfriend was sat and placed my hands on the table, Ellie grabbed my hands and gave them a small squeeze. "I've missed you so much baby, I am so sorry for being gone so long. Oh, you left your drink it's not like you to turn down a drink Taylor." Ellie obviously didn't know me as much as I thought she did.
"Yeah, long story. I missed you too, don't ever go six months without contacting me again!" I exclaimed, rather frustrated but rather happy that my girlfriend was back after so long. The guilt from kissing Karlie, or from Karlie kissing me was deep in my stomach, twisting into knots making me feel sick. Ellie stroked my hands, the thing she always did when she knew I was hiding something.
"Are you going to tell me what's wrong Taylor?" Ellie asked clearly annoyed at me. I sighed, this was when the argument was possibly going to start. "You want to know what's wrong?" I asked raising my voice a little not wanting anyone else to hear the conversation but wanting to made myself heard. "Six months, and you just stop contact with me. Someone kissed me today, and I couldn't go through with anything because I love you and you don't care. If you did, you'd be in constant contact with me. Ellie I'm an alcoholic, you should've seen the signs. I'm in AA, it's like you're so consumed in your own life, your famous life away from me that I'm second to you nowadays." I yelled at her towards the end causing the people around us in the bar to start whispering about us.
"What? Someone kissed you?" Ellie opened her mouth it formed a perfect 'O' shape. Obviously that would be the only part she picked up, not the fact that her girlfriend is an alcoholic. "Does it matter? I love you, even though I shouldn't." I mumbled. Ellie's 'O' hadn't disappeared at this point, she just sighed and picked up her phone that was on the table to check it. Not giving me a second glance, until she started cursing under her breathe at something she had been reading.
"What is it?" I knew for a fact it was probably more tour dates, even more time away from me. Ellie handed me her phone, Perez Hilton's website was on the lit screen. An article about Ellie on screen. The headline screamed at me the most.
'Ellie over Dougie? Spotted with mysterious blonde girl in bar.'
I sighed handing her phone back to her, we'd only been here together roughly half hour yet paparazzi had spotted us already. I knew Ellie would have to cover this up with another publicity stunt with Dougie, a sweep of sadness hit me, a tear rolled down my cheek unwillingly. Ellie's thumb quickly rose to my eyes, sweeping up the tears before they hit my cheeks. Her warm small sad smile that made me feel safe flashed at me.
"I'm really sorry about all this, I think it might come out. Admit all of this, so I can spend more time with you. Help you with your problems, I really love you Taylor. I don't want to go on tour again without you with me." She whispered to me, hushing me with sweet hums after she had finished. A tall silhouette appeared on the table, and a cough broke the silence between Ellie and I.
I looked up to see the brunette who had kissed me earlier, looking uncomfortable. Ellie looked confused, and grabbed a pen out of her bag assuming she was a fan. "El, she's not a fan. This is Karlie, Cara's friend. Did she send you?" I demanded raising my eyebrow at the brunette who had obviously been looking for me in bars. Karlie sighed, and started looking at her feet, fidgeting on the spot. "I wanted to say- sorry, you know for earlier."
Ellie gasped, and stood up from her seat suddenly she had worked out who kissed me. I grabbed her arm, pulling her back down to her seat."So you're the girl who kissed my girlfriend then?"
A/N - short but I will be updating explosions soon.
