'Taylor get up! I'm being serious, Cara has been screaming through the door for the past ten minutes luckily Ayla slept through!"

The blonde rolled her eyes at her girlfriend huffing as she wrapped the bed sheets around herself making Karlie groan. "Taylor I swear to God open up its fucking important!"

Taylor had already opened the door by the time Cara had screamed this. "What the fuck is your problem, are you forgetting that Karlie has a sleeping child! I'm not amu-" Taylor was cut off when she noticed Cara stood there with a tall man, who reminded her of the one person she left behind. He'd grown up so much from the last time she had seen him, he was no longer the 14 year old boy he was when she left, he'd become a man. "Taylor?" The man spoke up startling her. "What are you doing here? Mom and Dad will kill you if they know you're here Austin. Cara you shouldn't have brought him here! You're going to get him in trouble!" Taylor poked her long fingers at her best friend who did nothing but make her way into the apartment.

"I had no choice. He blackmailed me with the same puppy dog eyes you do, he's defiantly your brother." Cara smirked knowing for a fact Taylor was rolling her eyes behind her. The man stood still in the doorway, waiting to be invited in. "Ugh come in, are you guys hungry?"

Karlie had been preparing breakfast in the kitchen when she heard the commotion in the hallway, so she was surprised when she saw Cara and a strange man who looked familiar walk in the kitchen following her girlfriend like lost puppy's. "Oh hi?" Karlie shot her girlfriend a questioning look, trying to get some answers at least. "Karlie, this is my little brother Austin. Austin this is my girlfriend Karlie. Now do you mind telling me why you're here. You've had eight years to get in touch with me and you haven't."

Austin's face dropped, his face turned a clammy grey. "Taylor, understand that I was only fourteen, I didn't know why mom and dad kicked you out. I thought you'd left willingly. I only got told last month what really went down, Dad died two years ago Taylor. Mom passed away last month and told me the truth before it happened, I've spent the last month trying to find you."

"What? How come no one told me about this. They're my parents too, no matter how much they hated me I deserved to know before now!" Taylor crumbled, feeling the tears build up in her eyes she had already mourned the loss of her parents once but deep down she knew they were okay, now they were really gone.

"I'm sorry, really I am. But Mom wanted me to give you this." Austin handed his older sister a small brown parcel, smiling softly excusing himself as he left the house not being able to bare seeing his sister in that state.

"I'm sorry Taylor, I have to go too, he's my lift. Karlie look after her okay?" Cara whispered holding her friend close kissing her temple, leaving her in a state of confusion and desperation. Taylor needed her best friend more than she needed Karlie right now, Cara knew everything about Taylor's family and her girlfriend knew absolutely nothing about it.

"Baby?" The younger girl crouched down beside her girlfriend. "Do you want to talk about what just happened?"

Taylor shook her head, standing up from the spot she had been sat in not daring to show Karlie the tears that she had been hiding. "I'm fine, don't you worry about me. Can you get me some water so I can take these?" Taylor pointed towards her medication that she was unscrewing, she didn't want to take them but she promised her girlfriend after her meltdown last night.

"I'm going to get Ayla, here's your water. I'll be right back okay?" Karlie kissed Taylor's cheek upon leaving the kitchen not bothering to look back much to her girlfriends joy.

Taylor knew she only had a matter of mere seconds until Karlie came back, she had to get rid of the medication she was supposed to take somehow. She'd been holding it under her tongue for a moment before spitting it out in the sink, turning the taps on to dissolve the pills. "I don't need you. I'm fine without you." Taylor muttered to them as they slipped through the plug hole drowning in a stream of water.

Okay this isn't the best chapter I've written, but hmm 32 I wrote with my friend Ali because I was losing inspiration. It's almost complete but it's going to be the longest chapter I will have published for sunshine, so just a little patience and I promise it'll make up for the quality of this one.
