"No Changbin?" I looked over at my new friend, Yeosang, then shook my head.
"He had a class that overlapped with the time I got out of class, so he told me to walk with a bunch of people." I said and he nodded as we went towards lunch. Lunch didn't start for another twenty minutes, but we had nothing else to do now.
"He's..." Yeosang trailed then shook his head.
"I remember Changbin when he was an Innocent! God, he was so different!" He said and I looked at him.
"You were here when Changbin was an Innocent?" I asked, but he shook his head.
"No, I got in a month after he came in as a class C, but my best friends were. I got sent here by my mom after she saw how it straightened out one of her friend's sons and, well, yeah." He said, but the way he had said that told me a lot.
"You're... not straight, are you?" I asked and he smirked as he looked at me.
"No, my mom caught me sucking a model's dick in Paris, so she wanted me to come here and become straight-"
"Like a conditioning camp? Conversion, whatever it is?" I asked and he nodded as we sat at a table together. Already, some of our friends were here.
"That's a bunch of bullshit!" I scoffed and shook my head.
"Hey, Felix!" I looked at Hongjoong then waved. As I eyed him, I remembered that photo of him, Seonghwa, Yunho, and Changbin together then licked my lips.
"Hongjoong-"
"FELIX!" I heard and turned, smiling as Hyunjin ran over and hugged my neck.
"Hey, Hyunjin! God, you give Wooyoung a run for his money on volume!" I said and he giggled as he sat next to me.
"Guess what, guess what, guess what!" He bounced in his seat and I sighed, probably about to regret this.
"What?" I asked and he beamed.
"Seungmin asked me out!" He said and I felt my eyes widen as everyone turned to look at him.
"Hyunjin, are you serious?!" Mingi asked and Hyunjin nodded.
"Apparently, someone got word that Headmaster Seo is about to change a bunch of rules and Seungmin said he wanted to ask me before anyone else could! Ah, I've got a boyfriend!" Hyunjin sighed dreamily and I giggled, happy for my friend/roommate.
"Good for you, I know you really like him!" I said and he grinned as he nodded.
"Hey, where's your demon?" He asked and I rolled my eyes.
"Changbin is not a demon-"
"He beat a guy to death on property, Felix!" Yeosang said and I noticed Hongjoong give Seonghwa and Yunho a look, but I bookmarked that question for later as I sighed.
"Yeosang, we don't know the full story! All we know is the rumors, what that other red tie student said, and what Changbin himself will admit."
"Admit about what?" I heard and looked up, smiling as I saw Changbin standing there with a carton of fries in hand, a few sticking out of his mouth.
"How many times have I told you to eat them entirely?" I asked and stood, shoving the fries into his mouth and making him pout as he chewed.
"Fuck off, Felix!" He spit, but it was almost cute because it was muffled thanks to the fries.
"Mhm, sure! Don't choke!" I laughed and shook my head, sitting back down. Yeosang quickly slid down as well, making room on the bench beside me for Changbin, then he eyed me.
"You get what you need for the research paper?" He asked and I looked at him confused.
"The notebooks? I found them back outside my door." He said and I remembered.
"Oh, yeah! Yeah, I got it!" I said and he huffed.
"Don't come back to my room, Felix. I don't give a fuck how badly you need to clear your guilty soul of borrowing shit, don't do it again." He said and I pouted.
"I didn't give them to you, dick wad! I had your fucking father return them!" I growled and his eyes widened some, everyone at the table looking between us.
"Felix!" Wooyoung hissed, but I scoffed and shook my head.
"If I could, I'd leave your ass here, Seo Changbin!" I spit and heard the bell for lunch to start then I stood, going to get my food. Changbin didn't follow me this time, as I was with my friends and he knew they'd keep me safe, but I was still upset. Did he really think I'd endanger myself like that for some stupid notebooks?
"Felix, are you trying to die?!" I looked at Mingi then rolled my eyes.
"Changbin isn't as bad as you guys think!" I said and Yeosang sighed.
"No, Felix, he's worse! He killed-"
"Is that the only bad thing he's done?!" I snapped as I turned on him in the line, everyone turning to look at us.
"What?" Yeosang asked, but I held my hip and my ground.
"Is that the only bad thing Changbin has done? That one time? That's why you all hate him?" I asked and Yeosang frowned.
"Felix, he's bad-"
"To you!" I snapped and his eyes widened.
"He is bad news to you, because you never give him a fucking chance and, based on the reactions here, I doubt any of you bothered to listen to his side of what happened that day!" I growled and Yeosang's eyes widened.
"Felix, you weren't here! You don't-"
"You weren't here either, Yeosang! You've told me! You were off choking on a cock in Paris when Changbin got sentenced here as a class C! You came in the month after that!" I said and Yeosang went to speak, but I scoffed.
"You know what, I'm not hungry!" I said and turned, leaving my tray as I went back to the table to gather my bag.
"Felix-"
"Changbin, let's go!" I said and he stood, looking confused as we left the dining hall. At this point, I was so furious! Everyone judging him for one thing, and never giving him a chance to even explain himself! And Seonghwa and Hongjoong and Yunho?! God, the worst! They were as bad- no, worse than the rest of the student body because they cut out someone who was obviously friends with them! All I could focus on right now, all I could think of, was how pissed off this school made me!
