Mabel felt herself grow more faint as she looked down to the ground, "Guys..."
Steve dropped his arm with the bat and turned over to look at her. He furrowed his brow when he didn't see her, "Mabel?" Then his eyes trailed down to the floor to see that she was on the ground holding her stomach, completely pale from the blood loss, "Guys!"
Burgundy ran over as fast as she could, "Oh, my God. Mabel! You said that you were okay."
"Well-" Mabel heaved out, "I was lying. I'm really not okay."
"I'll drive her." Steve offered as he took his keys out of his back pocket, "Tail me."
"If you hit any bumps-" Mabel started as Steve knelt down to help her up. She let out a whine of pain, "Fuck-"
"Sorry." Steve quickly said before just deciding to carry her entirely instead of trying to just help her walk. "I'll drive fast and carefully."
"Yeah, I'd like to die at the hospital at least and not the back seat of your car."
Marcus shook his head, "Nuh uh, no talking about dying at all."

Joyce released a cry when she spotted her son pressed against the fleshy wall with a vine-like entity down his throat. Hopper furrowed his brows as he looked around, "Where is Daphne?"
"Will!" Joyce rushed to her son and got him down from the wall, "Oh, God, my boy, my beautiful boy."
"Is he still breathing?" Hopper dropped to her side and checked his pulse. He let out a sigh of relief and got back up, "He's alive."
"Oh, thank God." Joyce wrapped her arms around him, "Come on, baby. Wake up, please."
Will coughed ove rher shoulder and could barely speak. His voice was weak and he struggled to barely say one word, "Mom?"
"Will!" Joyce sobbed loudly and held her son closer.
"D-Daff..." Will hoarsely whispered out. He mustered up enough strength to point toward the corner of the room before his arm dropped down.
Hopper quickly twisted his body to find the young girl. He saw a pile of the living vines constricting down onto something. He took his knife out and sliced into its flesh. That was when he caught sight of Daphne beneath it all with the same thing down her throat. He picked her up from under her armpits to get her out. Will could barely move from in his mother's arms but he still reached for Daphne's hand. Weakly wrapping his hand around one of her fingers.
Joyce had taken her oxyden mask off and placed it on Will, "Just breathe, honey, okay. We'll-we'll help your friend."
"She's not breathing." Hopper put his hands on his head. Memories of hiw own daughter reappeared in his mind. Of her heart monitor beeping rapidly as the medical staff struggled to keep her alive.
