POV- Hope

I walked along the woods of the planet EXAR. The vines grew quickly around the trees and the sunlight shined through the canopies. My golden armor gently sunk into the mossy soil and grassy patches. I had forgotten to mention that I had a long lost relative out there. She was separated from me awhile ago. I sensed a villain worse than the darkness. It wasn't her of course. There was someone else. I sensed danger. There was magic in the woods. After the death of Anthea, I made sure to leave the pair of darkness and light alone. They didn't deserve to be known to the waking world.

I had to visit an exiled planet today due to rumors explaining life being found there. I had to establish my presence. Xandyr was at Goldenheart awaiting me. As of right now, the virus problem was solved but I felt war was arising. I would have to summon Venetra and Cyfrin to make sure I wasn't being irrational. I took in deep breaths in the crisp forest air of EXAR. I felt the peace and serenity of it all. Purity was supposed to be doing alright. Last I heard from Sereniti, things were alright. They decided to stick to themselves. That was the last I had heard of them.

I brushed along the leaves of the trees. They stood tall. The leaves changed colors with each touch of sunlight.

After awhile of taking in the moment, I decided to leave and get back on my ship. I had to get to some orders for myself. I stepped off of the soil of my comfort planet while I hoisted myself into my ship. My ship was golden and resembled a supernova. Goldenheart's symbols were engraved on the side. I shut the doors and powered up the ship to go and examine the exiled planet. The soil brushed off my aircraft as I began to hover upwards.

The forest grew shorter and shorter as I went higher and higher out of the atmosphere. That was the quiet planet. The planet of true peace and utter tranquility. I sighed as I turned the ship around to fly towards the exiled planet. I had not much details as to the name of the planet just yet. Rumors described it to be similar to EXAR which pleased me.

I assumed that whatever life there wouldn't be hard to fight. I fought many people in my lifetimes. None of which were too difficult. I destroyed and battled beasts big and small. I am a mighty warrior of the universe. The one and only Hope. I kept many worlds from going to war and fighting one another. The common ground between worlds is usually hard to understand.

I saw it there in the distance. Forests and calm, glowing rivers covered the planet. I steered the ship into the atmosphere. It made a low hum as I landed on the one opening I found as I came in. I wasted no time and opened the hatch to get out and step foot onto the planet. As far as I believed, there were no suns here and the planet had it's own energy source to keep it warm and cool.

As I walked for an hour or so, I came upon a ship. It looked like it hadn't been here that long. The ship was black and had bright purple lining alongside it. There was a purple under glow as well. I knew there was foreign life here now and I wasn't the first one here. Someone had beat me to it.

I shrugged it off and walked until I found a temple. It was made of primarily stone but there was lots of flowers as well. Each flower was a different color. There was a carving of what looked to be a prince who was protecting a giant sun. The sun seemed important. I brushed aside the flowers and grabbed one of the ancient handles to try pulling on it. The temple seemed locked. I needed to try and find another way to enter. I was sure that there was some form of life inside and I needed to enter the temple. I had a brilliant idea.

I jumped back a few miles to make sure I had a good enough clearing so that way I could blast myself into the ancient palace. I took a deep breath before taking off. I began to float upwards and to fly towards the temple at high speeds. I flew faster and faster as the trees began to fly by. I rustled up the trees with high winds as I flew. I braced myself for impact as I began to blast into the ancient palace itself. Stone blocks flew everywhere and echoed along the walls. I curled into a ball and blasted the doors open upon impact and created a mighty shake in the palace. I had a pretty rough landing, however there was nobody to be found. There was some blood stains on the walls but they looked to be old and not fresh whatsoever. The place looked to be like a dead zone.

I walked inside the shadows of the ancient palace. All was quiet and there wasn't a sound. Some gold veins ran from my armor and ran along the walls until they came to a stop. That usually signified where I was most recently. If the gold is warm, I was there recently. If it was cold, then it must've been awhile. Either way, it showed where I have been and where I haven't.

I wandered aimlessly throughout the palace, but yet I seek no life or sound. Just a mere splatter of blood that had dried out.

My armor clanked along the stone floors. I could sense no traps and no trickery. It was all so odd. During the moments of me wandering, I was thinking of Xandyr and how he was doing. The universe is often so vast, but yet I could never find anyone as good at medicine as he is. I liked his efforts at winning me over and that's why I've kept him around. He's just so wondrous to me.

I eventually stopped daydreaming and looked through some of the hallways. I heard a thud behind me. I quickly drew my sword that glowed in the darkness. I looked around and saw nothing. I could barely see inside here. Flames along the wall began to light themselves magically one by one. I stepped back from the walls just in case of trickery, traps, or an attack. I had to be prepared for it all. I drew a breath and gritted my teeth in case an attacker was near. It was clear someone was here.

Before I could defend myself. I got a punch landed to my face. Flowers wrapped around my wrists and tied me back as I dropped my sword.

       "Sunshine?" Said a voice.

"Just what in the universe's name do you want?" I spat on the ground.

"Sunshine," The voice said again, "I want sunshine."

"Go outside then," I offered with a hiss against my restraints.

Flowers should not be this powerful. This must be another privileged one for sure.

"My sunshine is a person. She cannot be replaced," said the voice that matched a figure as it creeped out into the sunlight.

It was a man with long hair and he wore a cape of flowers. He had creme colored skin and almost everywhere he had flowers. He had a sharp jawline and blue eyes. His hair was a darker blonde.

"I need your name," I spat at his face.

"Perseus, Prince of Flowers and I live here. The planet of EXILE," he huffed.

"I am Hope. I keep every world united. I'm the reason the universe isn't warring with each other right now. The treatment you're giving me isn't acceptable for my hard work," I scoffed at him.

"Then bring me my sunshine back," He offered.

"Love her that much?" I asked with a deep angelic voice.

"Yes, now go find her for me. She's dancing in the sunlight of this planet somewhere. She's lost and I need you to bring her to me," he sighed.

"Fine then. Any other prisoners you have captive must be released as well," I said to negotiate.

"Done deal. Go get her," he said as the flowers released away from my wrists.

He left already leaving me speechless. I had to find his sunshine. Before I did that, I would have to scour the lands. This place must have sunshine then. I walked until I met myself in the main hall of the ancient palace. My assignment was to find his sunshine. His sunshine was somewhere bright. It was at that moment that I had finally begun to understand. He's desperately in love with her.

      The prince needs his princess.

I need to fetch the sunshine.

And I needed to follow the sunlight.
