POV- Citronius

It was nighttime and the waters were now peaceful. The waters felt cool along my scales and scars. It was a relieving feeling to be inside the water all the time. I could see Hope have progress with her glowing in the water. She was a bright light and lit the way for me to see her. Xandyr was beside her and held her in the water to make sure she didn't float off in the tides. She seemed like such a peaceful woman, yet the look on her face seemed like she's been through so much more than just peace. The people of Goldenheart wielded plenty of wealth inside of their kingdom.

I was glad to be a big part of helping them out and building some sort of alliance. I did want a friendship with Hope though. It would take guts because of the man that held her so close. I swam up to him and began to talk.

"Thank you for letting us in your waters sir," Xandyr nodded to me in gratitude.

"It was my pleasure and the serpents too. What is the woman's name?" I had to know.

"Hope," he looked to the skies for a moment. "She's the ruler of Goldenheart."

"What a wonderous name! I am
glad to meet you both," I smiled at him.

"Pleasure is ours to meet you too. Is there any place for us to stay around here?" Xandyr looked around.

"Not any land, but I can definitely create some with my powers. A small land mass for the two of you! I can have the serpents create a small island too. Whichever works for you two guests," I explained.

"Just have the serpents create a small island for the night and have us rest," Xandyr shrugged.

Xandyr had dark and long curly hair and golden eyes. Thats what the people of Goldenheart had in common. Yellowish ngold eyes. They were absolutely beautiful to look at even though I never seen Hope's eyes open just yet as she was sleeping and healing still.

I whistled a peaceful tune as the serpents rushed to work.

"Thank you," Xandyr nodded to me as Hope began to awake. "We will return later in the future."

"I appreciate it. Keep this planet a secret though. I would hate for others to find out about us and use us for the wrong reasons. If it did happen though, I could easily defend myself," I nodded to them back.

"Will do," Hope finally spoke.

Her voice was heroic as well as angelic. I was mesmerized by it. No wonder Xandyr was under her trance. I decided to take my chance. I used an extreme wave of water to push Xandyr off of her, which turned out to be a mistake. Xandyr was immediately enraged by my actions. I used the water to my advantage and brought Hope into the air with me. I looked down to see the enraged look on Xandyr's face.

"Now, that wasn't a smart idea was it?" He shook his head. "Bring her back down and we won't have any problems."

I did as I was told for the most part. I dropped back into the water and let Hope down peacefully. I only took Hope for a small spin to embarrass Xandyr really. He would never know that though. I dove back into the great ocean waters. The water felt relaxing and relieving. I hope I still had the alliance with them. Thing is, I wouldn't have the alliance with them if I didn't apologize. Plus, who knows what Xandyr and Hope were capable of?

I decided that I would bite my lip and swim back towards them. Once I reached the surface, I saw them sitting together. Xandyr was soaking wet and Hope was laying back against the rocks in her armor. Her wet hair like paint across the rocks. Everything she did was like a painting. Xandyr looked at me with disgust.

"I would like to apologize," I said after awhile.

"I'm glad you apologized. Let's just move on and pretend like this never happened," Xandyr's expression softened.

"We shall do that then," I nodded at him. "I will leave you two to the island. If anything is needed from me, politely splash the water. If I do not answer, Throw rocks in the water."

"Thank you for your apology," Xandyr paused. "Goodnight sir."

"Goodnight," I peacefully said as I dove beneath the waves.

POV- Xandyr.

"Are you okay?" I looked at Hope.

"I am feeling better," she let out a sigh of relief. "The hurt has left my heart. I am much better than I was in Goldenheart. You saved me Xandyr. Thank you."

"I would give my life for you no matter where we stood," I drew circles on her shoulder armor pieces with my fingers.

"I appreciate that. I would do the same for you," She said with the mist of the sea on her golden face.

"We can return to Goldenheart whenever you'd like," I reassured her.

"Thank you Xandyr. I will let you know when I'm ready," She smiled as she sat up and looked at me.

"Is there anything you'd like to say?" I asked her.

"No. Silence is enough for the both of us for now. We both need rest. The Universe will test us again soon. We need rest," She laid back down.

"I understand," I said as I laid down next to her.

The water gently washed against the waves. I could hear the sounds and as I looked up at the sky, the stars shined so bright. A beautiful sight enough to make a strong man like me cry. So many things happening out in the midst of nothingness. I wish creatures were more aware of it. It was all infinite and once my life ends, I would never find out the secrets of whatever is out there. Venetra knew it all. I wish I could see what she sees. She sees potential in all of us. She protects us with the great powers she was granted. She went through great pains and tests to get it I'm sure.

I looked back to Hope. I knew she went through great pain too. She earned awards in her past wars too to get where she is now. She's fighting an internal battle in which she can mainly battle herself. It's a sickness in which I hope she can only be cured from now with the help of the water. I believe I have helped her a great deal. For now however, she needed great amounts of rest. Instead of her great title, she would be known as someone else to me.
