POV - Citronius

The water was calm once again. I swirled it around and ran some of the currents in a different direction. I felt some of my scales. Some were thicker than before, which meant growth and age for me. I didn't see it as a bad sign. I needed to find another way to talk to Hope and Xandyr.

I was fumbling around with a few more trinkets that I found in the caves below my general area. Not many creatures usually venture down past their usual boundaries. I was the only one capable of doing so. I found a few bits of mul, which was a type of currency my people used to use before they died off fighting in the war and I stayed back. Once a busy and great planet teaming with life, now a lonely one with me, the serpents, and other creatures in the deep. Sometimes I wish there were other people here. That's the main reason why I wanted Hope and Xandyr to stay as long as possible. I needed to find answers about other life on other planets. I didn't know much just like everyone else.

I dropped the trinkets off at my cave and swam as fast as possible towards the water's surface. I felt the currents as I swam past each and every one of them.

There were hundreds.

Each one tried to push me with different temperatures, speeds, and different textures in each current. Each current I created to make my planet self sufficient.

After awhile of swimming once again, I reached the surface. Hope was preparing to leave.

"WAIT," I shouted as I choked on the water.

She looked back at me with such grace.

"Yes?"

"I need to know if there's other planets with water out there," I said as I swam to the rocks.

"Not my planet," she answered with grace. "Maybe others. Only Venetra would know all of that. Ask her."

"How don't you know?!" I cried at her. "You can fly anywhere you want!"

"Not for long. I need to get back.  So if you'll excuse me, I need to leave. The city of the Cosmos needs me right now. I sense distress," She nodded and began to fly upwards.

     "Xandyr!! Do something," I shouted.

"You'll find out in time," He nodded to me. "Time will tell you everything..."

"If it told me everything I'd be Venetra," I rolled my eyes.

"Time has told her everything. She was smart enough to crack the code," He cracked a small smile to me. "You'll get it eventually."

Hope grabbed his hand and they left in a hurry. She left a supernova far enough away for me to watch. I guess Xandyr was right. I would get my answers in due time.

They were officially gone now, leaving me in silence. A small breeze blew through the air and I just continued to look at the sky. I threw water through the air in anger and it slammed back down again. I wanted answers.

"Yes?" Venetra appeared in the sky in seconds.

"How'd you get here so fast!?" I splashed water with my tail in shock.

"I'm not exactly here, although I'd like to offer assistance. What is distressing you?" she smiled at me.

"Is there other worlds out there? Worlds like mine to be specific?" I was oh so curious.

"Not exactly. They are extremely hard to come by, so you are very fortunate," she replied with great sincerity.

"I really wish I was like you. You've seen everything. You are almighty, powerful, and perfect," I sighed.
