Pov- Hope.
The level of distress had calmled down as I shot into the city's atmosphere. From afar, I looked like a shooting star of gold on a collision course. I sensed distress closer and closer. Just what city was this? Why hadn't I heard of it before? The city was dark with a purple aura. There was most definitely high amounts of tech and advancements here as well.
I saw a figure falling down with what looked to be blood in the distance. I zoomed faster through the skies to save it. There was colder winds the further I dove down. I sprung into action and grabbed the creature's hand. It had some consciousness but was blinking out of it. The creature was a woman; an assassin to be specific.
How could I tell you say?
The masks. The assassins always wear masks. Not all of them choose to, but the better ranking they are, the more cover they wear. I spread out my wings and pulled back against the gravity. I had heavy wings of gold with technology that allowed me to lift it and fly with ease. The woman was pretty light for the most part. I flew upwards with high speeds and sat her down on the top of one of the building only to encounter a man in a purple suit.
He was enraged.
"I don't care who you are! This is my fight and my fight only," he yelled and stormed to me.
"Seems like an unfair fight to me," I pulled out my sword.
"I don't fight fair," he said as he threw some pieces of metal out of his pockets on the ground in anger.
"Then neither do I," I ran at him with my sword and knocked him back.
"Who even are you?! How'd you get here so fast," he yelled.
"I am Hope," I stated calmly as I kept running. "And I'm going to send your ego to hell."
"Not a chance," he said as he swung at me.
"Right back at you," I slammed him down into the building top with my golden armored hands.
"Listen, I don't know exactly where you came from, but get off of me and go back," he hissed and shoved me off of him whilst regaining his footing.
"I won't be doing that. I sensed distress, now you have forced my hand to fight," my eyes glowed with pure heroism.
"Bring it on then. She's already at death's door," he pointed at the woman. "I mean just look at her!"
I made the mistake of looking when he wrapped his hands around my neck. While I made the mistake of looking, I saw that she was in horrible condition. I struggled against his hands around my neck in the meantime. I would deal with the fellow assassin later.
I grabbed one of his hands and squeezed as hard as possible until I heard snaps. I heard him hiss in pain as he held me to him in a choke hold. My armor gave me good protection against his weakness.
"Give up already," he winced in pain.
"I don't think so," I huffed as I heated up the gold on my armor.
The temperature began to raise slowly and I could see him starting to lose his grip. He began to scream in pain while releasing me.
"Now how in the hell did you do that," he was even more enraged now.
"I have better tech than you. Simple as that," I scoffed and let out a breath.
"No you don't," he was in an illusion.
