POV- Unknown
He left the warehouse awhile ago. I didn't think he understood the problems at stake. I had to strip down his ego and help him rebuild a more responsible one. I could sense the battle between wanting to care and him not wanting to care at all. The narcissism hasn't fully taken over. I wouldn't of saved him if that was the case. I needed to beat the everlasting hell out of the man before he realizes his irresponsibility and mistakes. It was the only way to do so at this point. I believed that could help him change and to become a better player in universal affairs and meetings.
Words wouldn't do much. The other creatures of the universe couldn't get to him with words. I had to use force.
As for My name. I will not reveal it at the current moment. I don't want to.
I could see Narcissus' struggles with change. There was a part of him that I couldn't quite put my knife on. An unusual part for sure. A man split into pieces, yet he still stands. A man who wants to change, yet there's the darkness and bitterness that swirls inside of his stomach relentlessly. It's affecting him in a negative way. I made sure to give him enough money to sustain himself until I found him again. I only asked him those questions to prolong his stay. I couldn't clean him up too much. The side of his face had blood running down it when I found him. His eyes were both bloodshot. There was salt water that covered his face in the street. He was crying at the sight of an early grave. I could see it. That was one of the reasons I wanted to save his soul. Before it was too late and the narcissism took him away.
I began to drop onto the cold concrete and look at the ceiling. I needed to teach him. He doesn't remember much of what happened. He didn't see me that day, but I saw some change in him when he stood up for one of my long lost best friends. Dead now sadly, I took care of her even when she needed it. She disappeared and I miss her evermore. He had nothing to do with her disappearance that I know of.
I pushed myself off of the floor after pondering for awhile and began to walk towards the warehouse doors. Either I spoke to Narcissus with more words and lessons, or I had to get him with force.
I grabbed the chains to slam down the doors. I saw the two small floors above that I called home. I wonder where Narcissus presided. I heard his name years back when he stood up for her. I won't name her because it isn't important.
I walked down the sidewalk to hopefully find Narcissus again. I couldn't just approach the guy again. That would be stupid! I had to watch him from afar for now until I was sure what I was really dealing with. Anyone with enough common sense could see that he's been alive for more than 200+ years. He's got the privileged blood inside of him which sparked my curiosity. He had powers, but I never saw what they did. I'm pretty sure almost nobody did. Just what could he do?
Virtually nobody knew his powers...
There had to be someone...
I could see some of the toxic gas pumping out of my filters in my mask. I had two sticking out on each side and a small one in the middle. I lost an eye awhile back so I had to replace it with an electronic one made from a meteor a long while ago. I had five eyes but lost the one on the center of my forehead so it doesn't glow anymore. It bleeds from time to time which causes me pain. As for my powers. I have a few. For the current moment in the arrow of time, I will reveal just one.
Chains have the ability to interconnect with one another and they allow me to find and seek information whenever I please. They can make a person choke on their words. They can make people do what I want when I want. If I did manage to get ahold of Narcissus again, I would be his mentor in controlling his emotions and narcissism. My chains come from my skin painfully at my command. The heat from the newly created metal stings my skin. After awhile, you get used to the pain.
Anyways, I looked up from my thoughts and looked at the tallest building. The city of the cosmos was tremendous to be fair. Finding Narcissus was going to be like finding a needle in a haystack. When I found him, I would have to remind him his power was weak right now. I could see his ego decaying by the look in his eyes. He's been beaten in the recent moments.
I could tell.
There was a slight wind blowing along the walls of each twisted and uniquely designed building. I could sense someone's presence. I could sense the heavy vibrations in the ground.
Footsteps...
I turned around in an instant to see a giant figure in heavy armor running at me. The figure was male. He tried reaching at me, but little did he know he had another thing coming.
Chains ran from my hands at high speed and they wrapped around his neck. The heat of the metal without cooling off made him scream in pain. I tightened more, like a snake, and threw him high up into the air. I activated some blades in my footwear to skate along the buildings.
I jumped on his brute head and sent him flying towards the ground. I slid back down the buildings with my gloves and landed gracefully on the ground to confront the man. He had four long braids tightly braided to his head. He was quite the giant I could say.
"You killed Narcissus," He heaved in his armor heavily.
"No. I merely saved him. He's wandered off now. I'm trying to find him too," I sneered.
"You're a liar. I saw you take him away," he said as he clawed at the chains around his neck.
"Believe what you want. It isn't my job to persuade you anything," I said as I snapped my reader shut.
He was an unknown. He definitely had some sort of military ranking though.
"I am going to need your name and military ranking," I paused thinking if I should say anything more. "For my reader's purpose."
"I would rather you take my head. You're already halfway there," he scoffed.
"I would rather not. You might have information I need," I pondered if this man had any information for me.
He DID have fighting technique though...
"What's your name? That shouldn't do you harm no?" I loosened the chains slightly."Abanus," he spat out.
"Well thank you for that Abanus. You have information on Narcissus. Who is he exactly?" I dragged my sharp nails along his chin.
"He's my best friend. I know you killed him or did something to him. What the hell did you do?" he looked enraged.
"I released him with a bag of units and other currencies I could find from other countries. I told you this already," I shook my head at the man.
"Let me go find him. Release me from these shackles and let me go," he demanded.
"As you wish. If you see him though, I'd like to talk to him," I retreated my chains back into my skin.
He got up and huffed and puffed off of the ground. He was a great deal taller than me. What a great strong man he was. He didn't see my identity or name. For right now, I'm going to stay under the radar of everyone else and stay unidentified. Abanus was going to find Narcissus for me. He seemed free enough, but not to me just yet.
He might've been free of his chains, but it will be awhile before he is released from my shackles.
