POV- Ixtal
The Ekkwa were long gone. The sun rose on my planet of peace once again. It shined through the orbs of water that slowly came down to return to being a full ocean again. The gravity switched and the planet returned to normal.
My scythe was the last one that I had a hold of. Not even Ujakma had one. I would have to summon Venetra by the mighty knocks to get her back to address some more crisis I found. There has been a group causing a load of trouble in other worlds. Word hasn't spread too much other than Ujakma's message. He said there was a dark hooded figure with brass knuckles and a princess like figure as the leaders. He said the princess was more likely to be the leader and the brass knuckled individual was a mere assassin. To me that was dangerous enough. He did not know if they had the capability for powers but one of the people on his island reported that the princess had a glow to her. According to his description the princess seemed sweet but I could never be too sure. Especially with war being inevitable at this point in the universe's time.
I had been training for awhile ever since war ended. There will always be some sort of conflict even if I don't have to be involved.
I kneeled down to the ground and began to knock. If you knocked more than five times, it was almost guaranteed she would come to your aid, but if you knocked furiously countless times, she'd arrive immediately. After awhile of slamming the ground, I stood back up and spun my scythe to my side. It was made by the ancient waters of those who died to protect me. I have no duty currently other than to protect the peace.
Venetra arrived after awhile. Cyfrin was not at her side fortunately. After many times of trying, jealousy would corrupt my reasoning with them both. His music was too good. Yes he was a good man and filled with the light. Something just seemed off with him around me. As if he felt hatred towards me or some grudge that happened eons back. I kneeled before her and bowed my head out of respect. She was the guardian of all worlds and the space in between them. She was the almighty one who nobody shall ever mess with. She created my weapons and maybe even my very soul. I owed my respect to her fighting in the great wars.
"Speak," She said calmly.
"I have some urgent news," I answered slowly.
"Do not be afraid. Stand up and be proud. What is the news?" She looked down at me with a serious glare.
I stood up with honor and began to explain myself.
"Theres trouble arising. The virus I'm sure is still a problem but there is a new duo that may or may not have an army behind them. These may be rumors, but I heard them from some other trusted people who had visitors in this past week. They are light years away currently, but once they figure out how to travel like the privileged, we may have to fight them off," I started to explain, "I have no idea how powerful they are yet. Once they find out about other worlds they are going to come after us for domination. You must intervene soon!"
"Or cut them off before they even start their adventures," she scoffed.
"Good idea. How will we ever know where they preside though?" I questioned her.
"Ask your friends for details and we can go from there," she said calmly and nodded at me in approval.
"Thank you for listening to me," I saluted to her.
"Thank you for telling me," She replied.
She brushed off her cloak from the meteors she traveled through and looked to the skies.
"Is there anything else I should know?" She asked further.
"It's not as important. There's an exoplanet discovered that we didn't know about that I might need you to explore for me," I explained to her.
"Is it dangerous? Or is that all the information offered currently?" She looked at me.
"I'm not sure yet. There's been people sent, but I have no information of them coming out. They could still be staying there and exploring still," I explained gently.
"Good to know. I'll check it out," she said as she sighed and prepped herself for another trip through space.
"Well, It was nice chatting. I figured I'd let you know. Goodbye Venetra," I smiled lightly at her.
"Farewell," She said calmly.
She mustered up her strength and began to float upwards into the skies. Nighttime began to fall and the ocean ahead assembled into orbs, magical ecosystems, and life in the bubbles. She disappeared after a few moments of flying. Ujakma was supposed to be planting on his island today since our moons were all full tonight. You could see them through the spheres of water. The gravity switches on this planet of mine never failed to impress me. The universe itself is a wonder. Truly ineffable I'd say myself. Time in the universe never stops. It's an arrow. Not dead or alive either. I don't know how long time itself has existed, but you can always wonder. Emotion exists as well.
Happiness, Depression, sadness, misery, excitement, Sorrow, and rage...
There was rage in the creatures of the Universe's hearts. That's the reason war is inevitable at this point. Rage is a virus and a plague that will not stop until it clashes with hope herself.
I heard footsteps run towards me from behind. I wasted no time and turned around to see a goldenheart warrior running at me with his sword ready and battle prepared. I jumped up into the air and flipped so I could be behind him. He had rage inside his heart. I pulled my scythe out and began to spin it furiously. The water in the scythe began to glow a raging blue with my eyes. I had rage in my eyes. I ran at him and began to slash into his armor. I had to get rid of the defenses so that way I could take his soul into the afterlife. I asked no questions as to why he was attacking me. I needed to defend my life. This individual clearly didn't seem up for talking.
He kept trying to block my attacks, but he failed to realize that I have a scythe made by the Ekkwa. I trained and trained after war. I slashed more and more into his golden armor. He kneeled into the ground after slipping in my sands. Blood splattered onto the sands. Golden blood. He hissed at me and kept trying to attack me. I could start to notice black lines in his skin from the armor I ripped open. He was infected. This was no longer a battle of fun for me. I needed to kill him so that way I couldn't get infected too. This individual looked to have the virus for a long amount of time. I'm not sure how long, but I could care less.
I slit the weak part of his armor at his neck before he could attack me and he fell into the ground. His golden armor disintegrated into the sands. He had the virus spreading all over his veins. The darkness of it all. It began to fade away from the victim it had taken over. A poor soul killed by the symptoms of rage. The virus wasn't gone, and that man didn't try to fight me. He wanted his life to end. He hated the rage in his veins. It got to his mind in the end. I shed one tear for the soldier and for Hope's kingdom as it looked to be crashing slowly. The virus was still a problem. There was something or someone in control of this. Could it be the group I talked about earlier? The planet that nobody has left yet since they entered it? It was something unknown I was sure. I knew from past experience that this had to be something knew. It wasn't in any of the scrolls I read from Ujakma. I didn't know and that's what frustrated me. I backed away from the corpse.
A sad, rageful soul. Another one dead to the virus.
Uknown and full of rage it is.
It had to be stopped.
Soon.
