POV- Venetra

I walked along the snowy ground. I was visiting new planets to explore more about the unknown parts of the universe. These had to be kept top secret. Cyfrin was with me, following my lead every step of the way. He stayed behind me and watched my back. Cyfrin was a loyal friend of mine. We've been close ever since I could control my power. The power of omniscience. We hadn't been here in a few hundred years. This was Cyfrin's first time here anyway.

After awhile of marching through shiny snow, Cyfrin and I put our masks up to keep safe from the storm coming in. As far as I knew, we were in a crystal forest. I wanted to keep a low profile in case there was creatures here.

Especially privileged ones...

I motioned for Cyfrin to stop marching. The winds grew stronger, therefore we had to stop. I dropped to my knees inside of the crystal snows and began to pack the snow up into a wall. I took out one of my lanterns and dimmed it so we kept a low profile. That was the name of the game on new planets. Keep a low profile and in turn, you keep your life. Cyfrin would keep his life anyway. I don't die. The universe intended for me to keep my life for eternity until someone came to creation with greater power for a punishment for me. I was great enough to know that would never happen. Or would it? Would my impossible downfall happen? Or was it already happening? Was there someone out there without my knowledge with greater power than me?

Venetra, guardian and celestial between worlds and the worlds themselves? The universe? I could never know. My omniscience only reaches so far.

I heard a snap in the woods. Crystals shimmered and twinkled above in the shiny canopy. In a slight panic, I turned my head every which way. Cyfrin seemed alarmed as well.

I heard thumps coming from far away. Vibrations in the ground came closer. There wasn't a lot of them, so I assumed there was either one or two people. I got in a stance, ready to pounce them at any second.

The thumps stopped moments later and that's when I saw my surprise. A warrior in white crystal armor jumped off this creature with a sword. I immediately shattered it into a billion pieces like shattered glass before my very eyes. Cyfrin tried standing up for me and protecting me when I moved him out of the way.

     "Stay back," I told him.

"You're going to get yourself hurt," he said as he tried to drag me back.

      "No I won't. I am invincible. I am omniscient. I don't need your protection," I huffed.

"Either way, I will still protect you even until my last breath," he said as he moved to my side.

"Thank you for understanding Cyfrin," I said as I continued to hold the warrior in it's place.

He nodded at me as he watched me work. I shifted each piece of this warrior's reality back into place and made it whole again. It dropped to the floor with a thud along with the sword.

I knocked it out for a few moments for now. Cyfrin motioned for me to take off it's helmet. I slowly moved towards the warrior to take it off. I unclipped the crystal clips and the helmet slowly slid off.

It was a woman. She had small crystals imbedded in her braids and a peaceful look to her. She looked to be at peace in her slumber. Something I could never do or achieve. Cyfrin watched her along with me. Cyfrin and I both grabbed each of her two arms. She had four. I had six overall. We dragged her against one of the crystal trees and Cyfrin and I dropped into the crystal snow, exhausted.

"Who is that?" he huffed at me.

"I'm not sure. This planet is fairly new. Haven't been here in ages." I shrugged at him.
