POV- Citronius

Finally... We were expecting visitors. A man by the name of Xandyr had contacted us. We knew they were not water dwelling creatures, so I had the serpents prepare some sort of solution for them. I would be sure to give them my recognition later. They are very sacred to this oceanic planet I call my home. We don't play too much of a big part in the universal community, so I thought my fellow creatures and I could pitch in some help to the people of Goldenheart. They are good people who don't have the virus within them. They seemed to have everything under control.

I sat deep down in the abyss and put my hair back into a bun. I put on some gold cuffs for my arms to show some presentable assets to their leader. He was probably a great man with good honor and strength. I wanted to seem presentable to such a leader. They have an empire of gold, riches, power, and their people are in good spirits as well as health.

They would be arriving soon. I relaxed myself in my cave to make sure I didn't slip up in front of them. The news I received said there was supposed to be two or more of them. I moved more of the wisps in the water and made them dance around. They swirled around with one another. They had such utter gracefulness with each spin and precision that I created with my very hands.

As the wisps I created spun and glowed in the water, I listened to the serpents hum above. I don't know how they were taking the news of the visit happening soon. Their hums seemed more worrisome than usual. I think they should handle it fine yes? I would just have to assume so. I didn't know how to communicate with them as well as Venetra did, so I would have to just wait until the duo arrived.

The waters as the sun began to go down began to silence themselves. I had no chance to patrol today as I had to prepare for the people. It has been ages since we ever had any visitors so I an forever grateful. Though we never make any habit to socialize with the universal community. It can be quite hard to sometimes.

I went back to playing with the water. It washed itself around in my hands and whirled around effortlessly. It made me crack a slight smile by just staring at the wonder. That was my power. I had the power to control the waters as I pleased. I could make wisps, make tsunamis, and tidal waves whenever I wanted to. The power I had was truly a miraculous and beautiful one that I would love to share with the community. The serpents seemed envious of it too.

I made sure to clear up my gills and put my finest collectables on my fins. I wanted to run the day as perfectly as possible. The Goldenheart community must like me. I couldn't bare to mess it up for all to see.

     The question arises...

Why of all places... Would the people of Golden-heart go here? Was something wrong? C'mon now there had to be. That's the only reason they would come here. No...

      Goldenheart has no problems...

      Or did it?

I swam up towards the surface. The sun was going to rise soon. I felt the water in between my gills. The waters here are calm. The serpents make sure it is kept that way. I appreciate them for it. Here is a place of serenity and peace. They keep the water as a healing place for those who need it.

I finally hit the surface. I looked around at the stars. There were so many. All in the peace of the waters. I was glad to guard this place. No virus was found here. I knew one thing about the virus. It hates water. Very hydrophobic indeed it is.

I saw the star in the sky. The only golden one. Coming at high speeds towards me. A man and...

      A woman.

Her hair was golden. Her skin was golden. Her eyes... I could see it all from here... He landed on the bits of coral I created as a small land piece for my planet. I looked at them from the water as the man cried out to me for help.

"Get her in the water!" He cried to me in desperate help.

"Right away then," I stated as I swam to the rescue.

I swam closer to the coral.

"It's safe I promise," I said to the man holding the woman.

He gave me a look of concern as he lended me her limp body. Her hair touched the water first. It flowed in the water like paint. The water was cool. Not too hot or extremely cold. It was cool and healing to those who needed it. I could see pain releasing from her. Was she fighting a battle? I could not be so sure.

I could definitely see the life returning to her. I pushed her back to the surface and she took in and gulped up breaths of air. She was absolutely gorgeous. Her eyes captivated me. It was as if the entire kingdom of Golden-heart was inside even though I never witnessed it. It was definitely beautiful.

She was absolutely amazing. I didn't know what to think. The man gave me a glare as I admired her. He wanted her too I saw. I don't think I wanted her just yet. I wanted to see what story she held. She had armor on, so I would assume that she fought. I wonder what battles she fought in. I could draw so many conclusions from what she could've done or gone through. She was a warrior for sure. I didn't keep up on stories long enough, but I had to dig deeper into those stories. From what I could tell, being in the water released her pain. I saved her. I had a one up on the man who seemed to want her.

Or did he have her already?

I wasn't so sure. It was worth a shot to try. All I was glad was to see she was released from her pain for a short moment.

Just for now. I did my job, and my job helped her heal somewhat. She seemed more calm now. She wasn't talking at all. She was breathing calmly. I was extremely proud of her. She was released from her pain.

She was released from her pain. Finally.
