I shoveled another piece of sushi into my mouth and tried to not choke on it while Dean made a face in disgust. The restaurant was dimly lit as we waited for our food to be made right in front of our eyes.

"I can handle take out Chinese, but this. This is ridiculous." Dean said in an annoyed tone.

"Dean," Sam said with an eye roll, "this is a nice hibachi restaurant. Now can you please at least PRETEND you are enjoying yourself."

I laughed and stared down at my plain salmon roll. Truthfully I could eat any kind of sushi but this was my absolute favorite. Tonight I got to pick out the meal.

Osakas hibachi steak house was the place I had chosen. If anything was going to be my last meal, then it was going to be this. All three of us had gone full out food wise on this nice 5 star heaven.

The place was fairly crowded considering it was a Friday night. Some sort of oriental music played through out the building but was muffled by the chefs cooking and people chatting about their food.

Ask.

No.

ASK.

NO.

ASK!

NO!

"What's the point of the war?" I asked finally looking at Sam, who was rolling his eyes at Dean, who put chopsticks up his nose.

Sam seemed to think to himself for a second. Maybe he was thinking about how THEY NEVER TOLD ME ANYTHING ABOUT THIS WAR AND WHY I WAS INVOLVED OR WHY WE HAD TO GO!!!!

"Well," he started with a sigh, "the war is angels versus demons and kinda versus us. There could be anywhere from 5 people, including us, fighting tonight or 1,000."

"We're fighting on the Angels side because the one thing God does, it make everything almost kinda fair. I mean each kind has its place and that's where God keeps it." Dean added on before starting to eat some of his meal.

"So every, how ever long, there's a chance for the demons, mainly Crowley, to be able to try to be in charge of everything." said Sam as he took over for Dean because he was stuffing his face.

"The last one was when Jesus was still on earth." Dean cut in, his mouth full of food.

Ok.

Greeeeaaaatt.

"How do we win?" I asked straight to the point while I ate my sushi.

"At the time period of twelve to 1, we do a ritual in front of one of the stain glass windows in a certain way for the Angels and then everything goes back to normal." Said Sam while he ate his California roll and I stared at the large platter of sushi in front of us.

I sat there silent for a while and watched a family to our right. The man and women were both young and they tried to feed their two little boys who were mesmerized by the food being cooked right in front of them.

"Does the fact that I'm gods child have to do with this?" I asked them both which made them uncomfortable.

"We think so." Sam responded cautiously.

What?

Did he think that would upset me or something?

I nodded and started thinking about how awkward the rest of the night would be. I noticed Sam and Dean were discussing something but I wasn't interested in trying to listen in on their conversation. Instead I ate my meal and stayed quiet.

"What's the riual?" I asked as I bit into my piece of incredibly large French silk pie. After we had finished eating our dinner, Dean decided that we "needed" to go to one of the worlds best pie diners that sold gigantic pieces of pie.

The restaurant wasn't very fancy but it had a nice feel to eat that was nice. Sam sat on my left and Dean was in front of me.

"Well, truthfully, were not really sure, we're pretty much only there to fight of the demons so they can do it..." said Sam as he trailed off.

"And?" I asked.

"You need to be present for it because it might involve some blood." Dean said cutting off Sam's words. He was then shot an aggravated look from Sam that screamed "wow, way to be sincere" which made me me smile to myself.

"We should probably head back," Dean said looking at his watch, "it's getting late. we should probably rest up before we go to war."

We all slid out of the booth and the bell chimed as we excited the restaurant. Taking our usual spots in the impala, Dean started to drive off before turning on one of his favorite classic rock songs.

Carry on my wayward son.

And with that, we prepared to head off to war.
