I awoke with a jolt and managed to somehow smash my head into the head bored. My hands flew up to the pain and pushed on it.

"Ow." I mumbled out, rubbing the small bump. A small trickle of light flooded through the shut curtains and right into my eyes.

"Seth?" I called into the silent motel room. "Trent?" Nothingness greeted me back, causing my ears to ring slightly so it wasn't quiet. On a small sheet of hotel paper someone had messily scribbled on it. I grabbed it off the night stand and struggled to read the messily written words.

Leigh,
We let you sleep while we went to school
Call or text us if you have a problem

Seth
Trent

I let out a sharp intake of breath before letting the gaudy sheet of brightly colored paper fall to floor. My legs swung off the sides of the bed. Every movement made my head pound and I placed my face in my hands.

So Mary Winchester and God...in heaven...and...ew.

I walked over to fridge and checked inside. Half a gallon of milk, two eggs, a very sad looking Apple, and a container of old carrots. Reminder to do some grocery shopping. I could always go now I guess, cub foods is only across the street...or I can tell the boys to do it when they're on their way back.

Yea I like that much better.

I glanced at the clock, 11:13. Their lunch didn't start till 11:29. The next 16 minutes were incredibly slow and less than exhilarating. I spent the first two pacing back and forth, the next six hanging my head off the bed, I channel surfed for three but before that I spent two trying to reach the remote without getting up and grabbing it from where I was laying, and the last five I spit between trying to do a handstand and debating on how I should go about fixing the broken lamp.

11:30.

I wasted almost no time in snatching my cell phone and dialing Seth's number. Each ring made me more and more impatient. Answer.

"Hello?"

"Hey." I replied jumping up off the bed and connecting my shin to the nightstand. "Ow crap."

"You alright?" He asked and I mumbled out something about the stupid table and how I wasn't in the mood for this.

"Do we have any aspirin?" I grumbled out, Rubbing the sore spot on my leg.

"Yea, it's somewhere in the bathroom." Seth answered with a chuckle.

"Don't laugh at me." I told him jokingly.

"Hahaha yea ill tell her," he said to someone I assumed was not myself. "Hold up. I'm gonna go somewhere more private." This was to me.

"Where's Trent?" I asked flopping myself down on the bed, listening to each 50 year old spring squeak.

"Skipping with some guys." He admitted nonchalantly. I hummed in response listen to the light shuffle coming from the other end of the phone. "Lucas says feel better."

My stomach dropped. Crap. I still needed an explanation for why I broke into my house. Leigh, you have time. You can figure it out later.

"How ya feelin?" He asked me. I could imagine him standing there. Standing by a row of lockers and leaning up against them. I groaned and he understood it as "I feel like I've been hit by a truck."

"We need food."

Seth laughed and I could hear him rolling his pretty blue eyes over the phone. A smiled tugged at the corners of my lips.

"Yea, I'll stop after school or something." He answered me.

"You better." I remarked sassily.

There was a silence that had settled and as much as I hated to say it, it was awkward. I had no idea on what to say right now. My foot tapped impatiently on the dirty blue and yellow patterned carpet while I racked my brain for words to form a sentence. I played with my hair and almost wanted to rip it out because I could string a sentence together.

"Well, I should probably go."

"Mmhmm."

"See ya."

"Alright."
