The car ride was something I truthfully enjoyed doing constantly. The way we sped down the highway as classic rock music played through the speakers in the black 1967 Chevy Impala. Dean occupied the drivers seat, Sam sat shotgun, and I took the place in the back between the two of them.

Highway to hell was the song that was on and every once in a while dean would mouth the words and Sam and I would laugh. The conversations were usually joking and laughing with monster hunt somewhere in there.

Today was a particular good day. It was warm and sunny outside so we rolled all the windows down and Back in black was the next song that Dean chose to play. We were on our way to Followhill Maine, a small beachy town on the shore and we had been driving for at least four and a half hours.

"How much longer?" I groaned from the back seat while pushing my hot pink sunglasses up the bridge of my nose.

"We'll be there in 20 minutes or so," Sam replied from the front seat with a map sprawled on his lap. Bobby had found us a case on the other side of the U.S. and I had never been here but I was glad for some new scenery.

We had been looking for God. After Castiel told us he was my dad, he disappeared and we haven't heard from him since. That was about a week and a half ago. There's an angel war coming. All angels and demons want to have me in their possession for an even better chance to rule both heaven and hell.

But God is still M.I.A.

sam and dean had wanted to make the hunt for him the number one priority but I refused to let that happen. We needed to keep helping people and not get sidetracked on something not as important. Things had been quiet recently which I couldn't decide if it was a good or a bad thing.

The case was a pretty simple one.

It was a haunted house that I could very easily handle all by my self. But of course I wasn't allowed to do that alone because I was "too young".

Warm air blew from the window and I was surprised it was as warm as it was in March. My birthday was yesterday. I was now 15 years old and no one new. I decided to keep it a secret from Sam and dean because I truthfully didn't think it was a big deal at all.

The car stopped and I realized we had pulled into the parking lot of a 1950 style diner.

"Dean! We need to-" Sam yelled as dean jumped out of the car and ran inside. He sighed and I shrugged my shoulders before getting out as well and making my way to the burgers that I could taste right now.

Loud music played in the background as we all but into our food that the roller skating waitress had just placed down in front of us. Any Conversation we had was either jokes or hunting...until we came up with a subject is rather not talk about.

"So...where do you think God is?" Sam asked while the waitress refilled my milkshake before dean watched her walk off with a smirk.

"Maybe he's dead." I suggested with a shrug before pulling my drink closer to me and sipping through the straw. Dean snapped back into reality and looked at us with a face that displayed exactly what he was feeling, what are we talking about?

"Well, I uh-hey! My car!" Dean yelled causing me to jump. There were two men standing by the vintage car, one was trying to open the window and the other was trying to open the trunk. Dean jumped out of the booth and sprinted outside and Sam followed leaving me alone.

I looked at them both as they ran outside and chased after the two, now fleeing, men.

I looked around and realized how empty the place was. Not like a few people here besides the waiters and cooks, but everyone. The building was silent except for the rock music playing from the speakers and my own breathing.

Glancing around the room I noticed something that just about made my heart burst. There was a man standing in the corner. He was tall with dark hair and a black suit and I squinted at him, not even trying to hide the fact that I was staring at him, when I realized something.

His eyes were black.

I jumped out of my chair and ran to the door, giving it a hard tug.

It didn't open.

I pulled at it some more and felt it jerk back and forth but it still refused to unlock it's self. Maybe if I can get Sam and deans attention...wherever they are...

I started to pound on the glass door but no one seemed to hear me and outside the restaurant seemed to be just as deserted as inside.

"Hello dear."
