Sleep that night was not as fulfilling as I had hoped. It had barely even came to me and when it did it was restless and filled with odd and disturbing dreams. 5:50 am could not have come sooner because any position i laid in was uncomfortable.
Pushing my self out of bed I rubbed my eyes as I walked slowly to the bathroom. I flipped on the light an immediately regretted it after I had to shield my eyes and fumble around in order to turn it off. Peeling off my pajamas I hoped into the shower. After a good ten minutes I got out and rummaged through all my drawers.
I spent a good couple moments of looking , I decided on black leggings an ironic mint green "Pink" collar zip sweatshirt. Continuing my morning routine, I brushed my hair and put on some mascara and slowly made my way downstairs.
Oh my lord was I tired. I let out a yawn as I dug through my cabinets for breakfast. Sticking with cereal, I sat down on the couch and flipped on the tv. I channel surfed but found nothing so I finished eating while watching the news. After throwing my bowl and spoon into the sink I ran upstairs, flopping down on my bed, I grabbed my laptop. I hit the power button as I watched it hum to life.
My fingers flew across the keyboard as I searched up "winchester" into google and let the results come piling in. And let me tell you, this, was going to be a lot harder than I thought. Anything about the books supernatural ever place onto the Internet had just made its way onto my dell monitor screen.
It wasn't the best and/or newest laptop out in the world, but it was mine. It worked perfectly fine for being a few years old and I used it almost everyday.
After a good hour of searching I had ended up right where I had started; with absolutely nothing at all. I groaned before weighing my options.
Call ghost facers?
Most defiantly not. That would be a last option that would only be use in extremely desperate and absolutely necessary situations.
Police?
That's even worse than the ghost facers.
I tried searching up something else. Something that I had no idea if it would work or not. I typed in the author.
Maybe he knew them as crazed fans that went around trying to be characters in a book.
Maybe. Just maybe.
Carver Edlund.
I searched through looking for a number or an address. Honestly anything that could possibly help me pinpoint him so I could get some answers to questions that I honestly did not know.
There was a website explaining about how sam and dean were real. The girl posted random "Everything's real" and "i met them both once" that would come up in bold letters on the screen.
Others would comment down below with either astonishment, questions, or starting arguments with other fans. After post many of the non-descriptive they're reals, she finally went into detail about her story. I scrolled to it but not before hearing a loud voice call my name making it muffled through my closed bedroom door.
"Leigh?" It was dad. I pushed my self off my bed before opening my door an calling back downstairs.
"Yea?"
"I can drive you to school if you want." he called up, whipping my head around I checked the time, 7:15.
How could have gotten so late.
"Yea, that'd be great. Just give me a second." I ran to my closet, and looked at all my shoes and went with my white converse. After getting them firmly placed on my feet, I grabbed my black jansport bag and threw it over my shoulder. On my way down stairs I threw my hair up into a ponytail and grabbed my jacked and hoped in the car.
We sat in silence. He kept his eyes on the road and I stared out the window. Maybe I should say something. Tell him it'll all be alright. Yea. Just do it. Don't think and just say something reassuring.
I opened my mouth to speak and turned to face him, but the car jolted to a stop before I could even get one single syllable out of my mouth.
"See ya later tonight." He said, his eyes were sad even with the "smile" on his face.
"Yea." I mumbled as I unbuckled my seat belt, grabbed my jacket and opened the door. Jumping out I paused. I turned to face him before closing the door.
"Everything's going to be alright in the end." I sad giving him the best smile I could muster up but it must have looked incredibly pathetic. He smiled back, and gave me a nod and looked away so I wouldn't see the Tears in his eyes.
I did.
"See ya' later." I said before shutting the door and walking into school.
