"Well, what do we do now?" Nyx asked her sister.
"What she just did?" Hecate suggested. "Whatever that was."
"I'd disagree with that. Step away from my mother." Melinoe's voice could be heard, loud and clear.
"There you girls are! We've been looking everywhere for you. Get out of here, it's not safe." Min and Asha rushed up to the girls.
"We know, Mel's inside the cage trying to help Mom." Hecate replied.
"I'm sorry, what?!" Min said, shocked.
"Oh no. Mel, get away." Their mother said.
"No mother, I will not." Melinoe said, voice cold and emotionless.
"Melinoe, get out of here. As your queen-" Lorelai said.
"-And as your daughter, I will not leave you." Melinoe interrupted.
"Oh that's bad, that's really bad." Min paced back and forth. "How did she get in there?!"
"She walked up to the wall and just walked through it." Nyx replied.
"But how?" Min asked.
The guardians walked up to the children and the Reapers. "This is bad, this is very very bad. Lorelai's gonna be pissed. Asha, I TOLD her that I'd get the girls to safety. She's gonna have my head!" Min spoke fast, panicked.
"What's going on?" Jack asked.
"I lost the princess, she's in there. She's gonna die. I'm gonna die. Lorelai's gonna send me down to the bottom of Hell, if I'm lucky." she was speaking so fast that it was hard to understand her.
"Min, MIN! STOP IT! This isn't helping anyone! Calm down, one step at a time, let's start with how to get into there." Asha grabbed Min's wrists and pulled her back to reality.
The girls were shocked at how the women were acting. Min had a hot temper and was quick to emotions, but they'd never seen her panic this bad. And Asha was always quiet and reserved, they'd never seen her raise her voice.
"I'm sorry, what's happening?" Bunny asked, confused.
"Well well well. How very interesting. A child. Do tell me girl, do you know who I am?" Pitch spoke.
"Melinoe's inside the cage." Hecate said.
"What? Who?" Bunny asked.
"The third girl." Jack whispered to him.
"Yes, I know who you are. You are my father. And I'm not afraid of you." Melinoe's voice left them in silence.
"Did I hear that right?" Bunny asked. "Did I just hear that Pitch has children?!"
The girls looked at each other in confusion. That was their father? How? And how did Mel know? Why hadn't she told them?
"These girls are Pitch's children?" Tooth asked, shocked.
Asha and Min moved in front of the children. The girls took this as their chance to get away from them, they ran around the dome without batting an eye.
"Alrighty then, what are we gonna do to help Mel?" Hecate asked Nyx.
"I don't know." Nyx replied.
"C'mon Nyx, you got to think of something." Hecate replied.
"Why can't you think of something?" Nyx asked.
"You know why. I'm not smart enough to think of something." Hecate responded.
