Luna entered Tony's lab around ten the next morning, eager to get started with whatever he needed help with. Bucky had made her promise that she would be back in her room by one to rest for the remainder of the day. He told her he'd be bringing her lunch and if she wasn't in her room when he got there, he'd march down to Tony's lab and carry her back to her room himself.

She planned on being in her room, but she wasn't going to stay there the whole afternoon. As soon as Bucky left she was going to sneak out and go head back to the lab. He'd be none the wiser if she was in her room before he came to check on her that evening.

Bruce was sitting at a computer while Tony and Peter were working on a new suit for the kid. Luna plopped down in a chair next to Bruce and put her feet up on the desk. Bruce removed his glasses and smiled over at her. He had been doing her check-ups when Dr. Cho was busy.

"Hey, Luna. How are you feeling today?" He asked.

"Right as rain, doc." Luna smiled at him.

Bruce chuckled at her and turned his chair to face her.

"Now how about the truth?" Bruce pressed her and she let her feet drop to the floor with a huff.

"The wound is closed up, but I still have some pain every now and then when I move too quickly or turn the wrong way."

"Just make sure to be careful and don't overexert yourself." Bruce cautioned her.

"You all sound like broken records." Luna grumbled. "All I hear all day, every day, from whoever I come across is rest or take it easy. I'm sick of taking it easy. I had to practically beg to get this assignment and I don't fucking beg."

"I know you're not used to this, but it's necessary for your recovery. Maybe being here and assisting Tony will help. You'll be on your feet again before you know it."

"From your lips." Luna muttered and stood to talk to Tony. "Hey, Iron Idiot, what am I working on today?"

"You know I agreed to this out of the kindness of my heart, so lose the sass, moon goddess."

Luna scoffed and directed her attention to Peter.

"Hey Spider Boy. Long time no see. How's life?"

"I-it's actually Spider Man. Uh, things are good." He said shyly.

"You gotta lighten up, Peter. I don't bite."

"Just stabs." Tony said with a slight smile and Peter's eyes widened.

"Only people who annoy me and you're top of my list right now, Stark." Luna said with a straight face. "So, what's my assignment, boss."

Tony shook his head and chuckled as he walked around the table, leaving Peter to work on his suit. He guided Luna to a couch along the far wall.

"Sit down and I'll get you set up."

"I don't get a desk?" Luna asked as she looked at the couch.

"Look, being hunched over a desk isn't going to help your recovery, so I had this brought in for you. There's a whole floating desk thing attached to the wall that will allow you to put your feet up and relax while you work, so just accept the kindness and shush."

Luna rolled her eyes, but took a seat and waited for Tony to grab a laptop for her. Once he got her set up he grabbed a chair and sat down next to her to go over what he needed. Today she was going to be going through the contents of Thomas's laptop. Tony refused to hand it over to Fury, saying that he trusted the team more than the people who worked for SHIELD. Luna asked him why he hadn't gone through it yet, but he just shrugged. He figured that since they had recovered the bombs, they had enough time to go through the information before whoever recruited Thomas and Megan were able to plan anything else. When he was finished explaining what she needed to do, he leaned back in the chair and stared at her.
